trying to escape from high traffic on the 15 of august, we stayed one night in the Relais. At first sight, with the buildings that are not nice, and looks like a mix of different ugly style, your stay will be a great experience. - the staff is just fantastic, simple, nice, always smiling ...and trying to give the best... A good place for golfers and those seeking a de-stress at the spa. One night stay in a wonderful wine region. Lovely room, impressive dinner and breakfast. Comfortable bed with quality linen. Staff welcoming. Maître D in the restaurant not very engaged with the diners, rather rushed. Grounds could be lovely with more attention to detail.

I love this place. I have come here on business for the last several years and it keeps getting better and better. The front desk personal are wonderful and the restaurant staff is fantastic. Safe in the room, AC, free wifi, pool, golf course and spa. Really my favorite place in Bordeaux.

The place is huge, rooms are large, the spa and the golf are excellent. A place for business seminars, there are plenty of large meeting rooms. The restaurant is first-class. Not much to say in the way of drawbacks. The place being huge, hallways are endless and with my usual karma, my room was at the far end of the... More

We had a beautiful suite in this park like setting. The breakfast was delicious and it was delightful sitting on the terrace facing the golf course. It was a relaxing resort set on a golf course with a pretty pool to relax at. The staff were most helpful in assisting our visits to the different chateaux.

Gorgeous setting. Amazing food. Excellent service. A gem in a small town on French countryside. We were driving through the Medoc region, visiting wineries and exploring the region and it was definitely worth the detour to stop here and have a really pleasant luncheon experience!

The most impressive thing about this hotel is the view of the golf course from the cafe at breakfast, when the serenity of the Margaux morning puts a smile to one's face. Room is spacious, well equipped and clean. Dinner at the hotel restaurant is rather average. A decent stay for the wine lovers.

This is a spa/golf/convention type hotel in the Margaux district of the Medoc. We were forced out to this location after Bordeaux was full for a Public Transport Conference, but it turned out to be no great hardship. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent with a good choice. Bar was strange with multiple choices of obscure Malt... More

Golf course and management of play very poor ... fairways were like rough at other course, signage between holes poor, and no management of play resulted in significant waits at most of the back 9 holes and a 5 hr + round .. not enjoyable ... could be a lot better if € invested in the course and somebody ensured... Good location, very close to town of Margaux in the Medoc area. Great for sightseeing and visiting wineries. That said, found the hotel itself average. Not bad, but not great either. I guess you pay for what you get, it is quite reasonably priced (<euro 100 per night when we stayed). Room was large with a couch, but the bathroom... More
