While many of the hotels and inns in coastal Croatia can be very touristy (and surrounded by other tourists), Boskinac was the opposite: charming, full of character, set apart in a fabulous vineyard. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and the restaurant was really wonderful. We would highly recommend this to anyone, but particularly those who might want to... More

Quite out of the way down a winding road, this villa makes you feel that you are visiting a very wealthy and gracious friend. The staff couldn't be more helpful (thanks, Emanuela and Josip!), the rooms tasteful, all you'd expect of a first class lodging. I would have liked a coffee maker in the room, but they will bring you... More

Adriatic Motor tours definitely kept the best hotel for our last night in Croatia. Has many terraces facing different directions with beautiful flowering plants and trees. The staff very friendly and helpful. The room was huge with lots of windows and a California king bed. Beautifully decorated throughout this hotel. Dinner was amazing and had the daily fish as recommended... More

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is situated on a unique island that looks other worldly - craggy rocks and severe landscape. Takes about 2 hours to drive to the tip of the island from the bridge to Pag, from the south. It is about 3 1/2 hours from Rovinj in Istria. There is a ferry so, you may... More

I recently had the pleasure and honor of getting married at Hotel Boskinac...the place dreams are made of. The location is absolutely breathtaking with the most picturesque, gorgeous landscapes to savor while you are there. The hotel itself is beyond charming with big, beautiful, well designed rooms. The food is delicious, very authentic and the wine...oh the wine, from someone... More

Everything about this place was perfect and my only regret is I didn't stay longer! The rooms are so spacious, the meals were great and let's not forget the wine! Also close enough to the town by taxi.

I had first heard about Boskinac from Anthony Bourdain's show on Croatia and made it my goal to stay there. And how happy I am that we did! We stayed for one night in August as a family (total 6 of us - parents and siblings/step siblings). The hotel is GORGEOUS. The rooms (including bathrooms) are incredibly spacious, clean and... More

BOSKINACFamily traditionWinemaking in the family Boškinac began in the 1950s. Boškinac Winery was built in 2002. Area of 6.5 ha of vineyards planted in 2000, is a few hundred meters from the winery.Wanting to preserve the authenticity of the island' wines and to continue a long family tradition, the owner, Mr. Boris Šuljić preserved an indigenous white grape variety named Gegić. Gegić was a sort of grapes on verge of disappearing but by using scions from these old vineyards that still existed at the south of the island of Pag, owner Boris Šuljić grow the Gegic variety vineyard and saved it from extinction.Mr.Boris Suljic also planted two red varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and two white chardonnay and sauvignon blanc. Production of wine in the winery Boškinac is exclusively made from grapes produced in his own vineyard. The winery and tavern Boskinac can accommodate up to 70 people where more traditional meals and wine tasting are served. ... more   less
