My husband and I have just returned from our second stay at the Hollybrook, just like 2 years ago brilliant company, food, room and made to feel really welcome by Ray, Jackie, Gemma, Kev and the locals. Cannot fault this hard working family run establishment at all, lovely clean rooms with everything in them that is needed including free wifi,... More

Went for food on saturday night in a group of 6 people. Service was good. Nice atmosphere in the pub which was quite quiet. There was a good choice, but then when we came to order 2 or 3 of the choices had sold out... We were there at 7pm on acsaturday and we were only the second table there.... More

I recently stayed here with my husband and a work colleague, and whilst they have stayed here previously I had not. From start to finish we were made to feel welcome and we will definitely stay again should the opportunity arise. The lovely Gemma acts as receptionist, porter, waitress and bar maid she is so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.... More

Excellent family weekend with Gemma, Ray and Jackie looking after us. We booked 6 of the rooms. Well looked after, good selection of drinks and very good "home cooking". Location is perfect in a small Welsh village with access to many local facilities and things to do.

We ate in the evening in the restaurant & it was well heated, just what you need on a cold, wet winter's evening. There is a good choice of menu, including the interestingly named Taste of Wales starter; it's Lava bread ( cooked seaweed!), cockles & bacon. I really enjoyed it, the waitress did query if I knew what lava... More

We had a lovely welcome, our room was well decorated and maintained, and clean. The food was good, we had an evening meal. It was nice just to go downstairs for a meal instead of having to drive out. The menu was good, lots to choose from and the prices were okay. Breakfast was also good, cooked to order. We... More

drove past in the teaming rain but got a very warm welcome inside. Nice meal, nice room, good wifi for working and then a great breakfast. And then to top it off, a very good looking bill! will return

I have stayed at the Hollybrook many times, each time the rooms have been clean, comfortable and immaculately presented. All rooms are a good size with all the extras you would need for your stay. The food is traditional, welcoming dinners (with good chunky homemade chips) and a good selection of dishes to suit all tastes and appetites, but make... More

We stayed here after watching Pooler play at Narbeth. The main problem is actually finding it you need to go past the railway museum and keep going till you get there. The room was very clean and perfectly adequate for us. The locals were so friendly and they made us feel so welcome. The food though....that was something else. If... More
