Stayed here Monday-Friday for 5 weeks whilst doing cabin crew training, was made to feel welcome from day 1. Fabulous rooms, very clean and homely! Guilly and Tony were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Rooms were cleaned daily and breakfast was continental with plenty of choice. Pensford is a beautiful area! Would highly recommend... More

I called this Marmite because you will either love it or hate it. For a start it's in the middle of nowhere. Secondly, it's a very tight turning off a very busy road, be prepared for plenty of horns from irate drivers behind you as you turn in. Next, if you follow instructions, you will go down the small slope... More

I always quote a price for B&B with continental breakfast and am always happy to do a cooked breakfast if anyone asks and we are! The Continental breakfast is fruit juice, cereal, a choice of muesli, branflakes, shreddies, wheetabix and cornflakes, then toast as much as you can eat with a variety of jams etc, coffee or tea and fruit!... Myself and 4 friends stayed here last night and we were all so pleasantly surprised. From the road the property looks like an average stone cottage type building but on walking round the back through the lovely garden a real treasure comes to life, and it soon becomes clear that the owners take great pride in their BnB. Every turn... More

This is a beautiful property in a nice part of the country. We stayed for three nights, having arrived from Australia and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We chose to stay here as a good location to explore this part of England. The owners went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Because it is such a nice home,... More

After reading the reviews i booked my family into what i thought was a lovely B&B. Apart from the cleanliness, which seems the owners only concern, I have nothing positive to say about this B&B sadly. The rooms are impratical as a B&B, this taking your shoes off is ridiculous when the guests are pensioners and this task alone is... More

I have to say I was devastated by this review I love having people to stay and I thought I was kind and welcoming to everyone I am sure I did not take more money than I was owed as I just read it from the email that I had received which I thought was correct. It was unfortunate however... More

I was doing some charity work in Bristol and quite by chance came across this B&B which has great open views over the wide stream at the rear of the property. Very friendly reception. Very clean. Very quiet. Almost a well kept secret. Very close to Bristol and surrounding areas.

My wife and I recently stayed at The Hollies for a 2 night weekend break to visit Bristol. We were shown to a lovely room overlooking a beautiful garden which was immaculately clean. Not sure what the previous reviewer was on about, the car park takes seconds to get to, the rooms are not advertised as being ensuite with a... More

This is a pleasant old guest house with interesting features, but the parking area behind the house necessitates a long walk to the side door either through the garden door or down the pavement alongside the road. My bedroom was comfortable but I strongly object having to get up and walk down the landing to the toilet, shared by other... More

Adjacent to the A37 through Pensford, just before the bottom of the north hill, marked by a small inconspicuous sign, small parking lot. This place is full of treasures from two world travellers, plus the “earth mother/”hippy” knick-knacks of plant hangers and stuffed calico cats for holding doors open – very busy and cluttered, but warm and immaculately clean. Continental... More
