First visit to Bruce Peninsula in over 25 years and when I saw the location of the Lions Head Beach Motel I could not believe that the beautiful setting. Although the locals told me that you can not swim in the Georgian Bay until late in the summer due to it being very cold what I never realized was how... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B! The new couple here were great and friendly, and greeted us with a nice homemade snack and coffee. They were very helpful with trips and things to do, and they made an AMAZING breakfast(my parents are still talking about it) - they ask you the night before what you would like, and... More

Came up for family dinner Easter weekend and not enough room for everyone overnight so we took a room here. Booked the day before with a CC over the phone. Arrived around 4 to a nice note and a room key as she was out. Room was recently renovated and exceptionally clean. (Room#5) I don't think I've ever been in... More

16 of us stayed at the motel and cottages for 3 nights and the owner Barbara quoted us all different prices for the same rooms with a kitchen/ motel room !! Most of us were unhappy about this as the website says one price and when we paid it was a considerable amount more ! She also mixed up the... More

My husband and myself stayed there on a whim about a month ago in jakes cottage. Was very clean and the scenery was great.. Very friendly owners and willing to accommodate your needs. We went back just this weekend and stayed at Roslyn's Nest it was a home - cottage was huge and very clean with a hot tub and... More

Barbra was very helpful and prompt in helping me navigate booking one of their cottages. I very much appreciated her kindness. We will be looking it up again for future travel to the area. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

We stayed here for 3 nights in early November so the Northern Peninsula was relatively quiet. We arrived after midnight and met Barb Grison, the owner. She was just perfect throughout our stay. I can't say enough about her excellent customer service. The room was super clean. We found ourselves looking for dirt...couldn't find any. The kitchenette was totally functional;... More

We had a great time staying with Dave and Barb. We stayed there last year and returned to Lions Head because we had such a good time. We were treated like family and the breakfast truly is outstanding.

The room we stayed in was clean, but rather old. The kitchenette was something from the 50's, and I do believe a more updated kitchen would have made a huge difference for us, since we liked to cook. We did notice that some other rooms had better TVs and such so perhaps they gave us the worst room, judging from... More

We were in Lions Head shooting a movie so we took up most of the motel and cottages. I stayed in a motel room, with a coworker, which was large with a kitchenette with everything you need including a full fridge, sofa, coffee table and two beds. Shower was perfect. Patio door opened to large grassy lawn and beach. Owner... More
