I was travelling on my own and booked a small room at Peppers for 2 nights. The price was excellent - under $185 for 2 nights but I had been warned the room was very small. It was tiny but very well laid out, modern and with everything a larger room would have had. The bed and pillows were really... More

Lake Tekapo is breathtaking. The resort is well situated in this tiny village; it is perfect for a one night stop over on the way from Christchurch to Queenstown. My partner and I stayed one night on the way to the snow. There is not too much to do in Lake Tekapo itself, but there are some great photo opportunities... More

i booked a budget room with peppers...and was upgraded to double deluxe room with lake view (free) since my aunt who travelled with me is a senior citizen, they decided to upgrade the room, and gave us room at the 1st floor just above the reception for her convenience. that was so thoughtful of them. the room is very spacious...it... Yes, the hotel is beautiful and has some great views of Lake Tekapo. However, we only paid for the basic hotel room and whilst the finishes and decor were awesome, it was a TINY room with no view (unless you count the car park as a view). We literally could only just get in the door and there was only... More

Fantastic big room looking out to the late. more than enough room to set up a porta cot. the only disappointing thing was the room service dinner. we order a roast veg pizza and al it had was tomato and red onion. im not sure where the roast vegys were. other than this we enjoyed our stay

This accommodation really is top class. There's no sign of cost cutting. What you get for your money (especially in New Zealand) is excellent value. Views are tops, architecture and decor is spot on. The only problem, but this is New Zealand hotels in general, is that breakfast is not included and you have to pay for wi-fi that's not... More

This isn't the first time we have stayed at Bluewater in Tekapo and i must say it is always a pleasure. The resort is an extension of the peace and calm of Tekapo, and is architecturally designed and built to fit in with the environment. Even in a unit near the back this time, we found it quiet and tranquill.... More

We stayed here for two nights having travelled from Dunedin on the way to Mount Cook. The location is spectacular and the hotel is ideally placed on the hill overlooking the lake. However, be careful, there are two types of rooms. The larger villa looks spacious enough, however we booked the smaller room, which is EXTREMELY small. If the room... More

We stayed for one night, and we did come with some high expectations after reading the review. In fact, we made a significant detour to our itinerary to visit Lake Tekapo (which was beautiful), but it was somewhat marred by our experience at the hotel. First was the check-in. The check-in form that I received to fill in when I... More

We stayed in a 3 bed lake view apartment which was actually a 2 bed plus adjoining studio. It was very spacious with a large full size kitchen and two lounge areas. . It was ideal for a family with teenage children. We overlooked the lake with the main highway passing in front of the complex. We were initially concerned... More
