One of the best Motel rooms we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail is excellent and the decor superb. There is a superb bathroom ,kitchen area, comfortable sleeping area and lounge. If the cloud cover permits you can star gaze from your bed ( this window can be covered if you wish ).We had a most enjoyable stay.... More

We traveled around the South Island for two weeks and stayed two nights at Lakeview, Lake Tekapo. It is situated away from the main centre of Lake Tekapo, in a quiet area with Lake views. The accommodation was lovely and perfect for a couple. The rooms were light, modern and very clean. They are nicely decorated and the living area... More

Stopped here one night recently and would have left a positive review until this happened. We checked out of the hotel around 9:30am and at around 10:00am received a call accusing us (girlfriend and myself) of spilling water on the carpet (I walk around bare foot and wasn't aware of any such problem, so couldn't have been bad at all).... These people are liars! We are not thieves! We did not contact them regarding spilt water – we contacted them regarding the flooded carpet at the entrance to the bathroom (all towels in room were sodden in an obvious attempt to try and minimise the damage). We contacted them and offered for them to return to our business to survey... More

Good location just before the main township, a nice quiet road so perfect for relaxing. Great layout in room and really cool skylight above the bed for stargazing (can be closed if you like it dark) We were in Crux which seems to be near the water pump (it was noisy when one of the other two units were running... We came to Lake tekapo for a friend's surprise birthday party also to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Driving smooth from Christchurch for approximately 3 hours with beautiful scenic of MacKenzie country and the Southern Alps along the way. After some catch ups with friends, we checked in to the hotel in afternoon. This accommodation has got limited unit to stay... More

This little boutique B and B, a few minutes out of town, has all the comforts of home with fantastic bedding and superb blockout curtains so that you can sleep in if the weather turns nasty. Looking out to the gorgeous lake is a plus and the stargazing window above the bed is a cute touch. Loved the high pressure... More

Beautifully appointed with 3 separate suites available. Stylish and modern with great linen and furniture selected throughout. Owners are on site and a delight. Beautiful views over the lake. The best bit is No Kids!

Can not fault this place... it's perfect!!! Easy to find Friendly welcome when we checked in, and the host was very helpful. Suggested great restuarants to eat and local attractions. Room was better than what we excepted. Very clean and tidy. Well equipt kitchen. Like the little touches such as an ice scraper for the car windscreen and binoculars. Underfloor... More

We stayed here for one night in our annual trip to Lake Tekapo, only because Peppers was sold out the night we wanted to stay. We actually arrived on the wrong day! Staying the day after, but the owners were extremely friendly and helped us with other accommodation. On the night of our stay, we were floored by how modern... More

When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly reception. We were given maps for the area and given recommendations for the area. We were then given a tour of the room and how to use the facilities, which we found very useful. The rooms are very new and contain modern tv, showers etc. The sky roof is a... More
