What a great little place! Only stayed for one night but will be back with the family as this place has character +. Very clean and tidy with buckets of personality and quirks which makes a nice change from some of the larger holiday parks that can be a bit sterile and loaded with lots of signs telling you the... We camped here for 1 night in May 2014. The kitchen and lounge were lovely and clean and cosy, the toilets and showers were clean and good. Receptionist was friendly and informative, and we went for a great swim at the TSB pool complex down the road. Couldn't fault it really! Had a nice chat with some friendly residents of... More

We stayed here recently in our motorhome, and it was a pleasant surprise to turn in there after driving through The Forgotten Highway. We were intending to stay at the Whangamonoma pub, but we found it to be less than friendly so drove on after a quick small beer. The Holiday Park is really clean and has nice gardens. Good... More

Our family stayed at this holiday park some time ago (we only just received their final response almost 2years later, - the only date we could list was jan2013 ). We had older parents and couples. For camping it may be okay, but suggest you rather spend a bit more money at other Stratford motels as we don't feel their... More

I arrived late and in good faith I paid for three nights as I typically stay in holiday parks and have never had an issue. I went to my standard cabin and it was disgusting - it smelt of stale smoke and it was so musty it made you gag. It was late so I aired the room out for... More

You were given a refund and happy when you left. You did not approach me until that evening which was seen to when you went out. I did not say the things which you are saying, no worker smokes in any room. If you had spoken to me prior to booking at another motel, this problem could have been solved... More

I have to confess that we were misled by the name Top Town - we thought it was a Top Ten camping ground which is a franchise with high quality standards. Well we stayed in a standard cabin which was run down and smelt very musty. There was a mould around the window frames and in one corner. I am... More

Agreed price at time of booking was not honoured.A price increase was made. You would not get away with that in the uk. We booked to stay for 2 nights and had paid 1 night deposit. We were threatened with losing our accomodation if we did not comply. However there were no problems with the accomodation

Stayed just one night at this very basic campsite. Very pleasant lady running the site. Lots of permanent vans of varying sizes but mainly quite old and close together. Small plots with not particularly good views. Washroom facilities old but very clean, and the same for the kitchen and dining room. Certainly not the worst place we stayed during one... More

We stayed in a basic cabin and were pleasantly surprised to find that we only had to bring blankets for the beds. Our room contained a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and single on the top. We had a small dinning table with stools, A sink with cold water and a decent sized fridge / freezer. These... More

A pleasant surprise when assigned to our self contained cabin. One of the newer ones, it was quite a squeeze for our family of 5 and all our luggage. But very clean and tidy, with beautiful set of plates and cups which was a nice change from the hodge-podge combinations commonly found in other accommodations. The children pleasantly surprised with... More
