A stunning setting. The cottages are gorgeous. Beautifully furnished and so private. Come with vogels bread, eggs, coffee and fresh flowers. It really is the little things. Stunning gardens. Perfect location for cycle track. A little out of the way from other things so you do need a rental car to stay here however completely worth it. I truly cannot... More

Lawn Cottages are the perfect place for a serene and very comfortable stay in the Napier area. The cottages are set in beautiful gardens providing a tranquil vista and a feeling of being far away from the madding crowd. Shona has thought of everything to ensure a wonderful stay - luxe bedlinen, masses of fluffy white towels, a well equipped... More

Had three nights at this wonderful cottage set in an amazing garden. These cottages are totally private, have every amenity you would need, and are tastefully decorated. Facilities like supermarkets, restaurants, vineyards and beaches are all so close. Great set up for either one or two couples in each cottage.

Forget staying in Napier, Hastings or Havelock North. When in the Hawkes Bay, stay in the centre and be only a few kilometres from all the above towns. We loved our fully set up, totally private cottage. The magnificent gardens were absolutely amazing to look out on, and the feeling of being in the country, and yet only being minutes... More

We started off our New Zealand holiday at Lawn Cottages and we could not have been happier with our choice. The Hydrangea cottage was perfect with two nice sized bed rooms divided by a very comfortable lounge and more than adequate kitchen. It was easy to tell that a cook had stocked the kitchen with high quality utensils and wares.... More

We stayed in Hydrangea Lawn Cottages for 3 nights and it was a great start to our 3 week long holiday. The cottage was very homely with lovely lawn at the back for our 10 mth old son to explore. Shona was extremely warm and hospitable. She went the extra mile and got our son a high chair, which we... More

My husband and i have just experienced the most outstanding accommodation ever! We stayed 2 nights in the Magnolia cottage at Lawn Cottages and it was just perfect in every way. The views were divine of the spectacular garden and oh so private too. Shona bent over backwards to make sure every little extra imaginable was catered for including fresh... More

Our family was absolutely blown away by our experience at Lawn Cottages. When we arrived at the property we were met by Shona and a beautiful chocolate lab named Truffle. Each of the cottages was stunning - lovely interiors, quality fittings and well stocked pantries. The extensive gardens between the cottages are designed in such a way that each cottage... More

We are four ladies who have just returned from a fabulous weekend in Napier. This is our second stay at Lawn Cottages and we have once again had a fantastic stay in the Hydrangea cottage. Shona, the owner is such a friendly and helpful person and makes the stay so easy. The cottage is tastefully decorated and just has that... More

Our criterion for selecting lodgings is as follows: Cleanliness, Privacy, Well appointed Kitchen, Location (close to sights), and Internet Access. Hydrangea Cottage met or exceeded our expectations in each category. We spent two nights with Shona and found her to be a helpful and delightful hostess. We highly recommend Lawn Cottages as your lodging in the Hawkes Bay Area.
