We found this place after stopping at the I-center. The price was very reasonable for this touristy area. The rooms was clean and had little perks like chocolate and lemonade in the fridge. The owners could not have been nicer, and there is trails to hike right out your door.

We had a lovely spotlessly clean room, a super comfortable king size bed, fabulous hot shower, and wonderful hosts. Darren and Maryanne have only been there for 6 months, and are working very hard with the wonderful help of their sons, Brandon and Josh to improve and upgrade the motel ,there are lots of exciting plans in the pipeline! They... More

This was a good place to stay. It was convenient to get to. The beds were comfortable and the showers nice and hot. The new owners were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They also provided a simple breakfast of cereal and also had soft drink in fridge complementary. They... More

Please note that the motel is under new management and should be undergoing renovation in the near future. In that case, some of these comments may no longer be applicable. PRO: Five room motel set in an idyllic location and as the name implies, is situated in the subtropical rain forest. Close to nearby places of interest. Nice garden in... More

Room very old and definitely needed improving, bathroom really basic. Made to feel very welcome by new owners, basic breakfast supplied including cereal etc which was nice. This place really needs to be updated, great central location, close to pub and shopping centre.

This motel has just had a change of ownership, so what is written in this review may not be the case for long. The motel is an a picturesque setting, with a creek running through the grounds. There are plenty of benches and tables dotted around the gardens and there is a BBQ area, that is in need of some... More

We had a surprise 50th Wedding Anniversary party to attend. Finding accomodation was very difficult but I stumbled on this quaint motel. We were greeted with enthusiasm and were well cared for during our stay, Mata (manager) and owner of the cafe was so friendly and obliging. Her breakfasts and coffee were "to die for".

Stayed 2 nights at Tall Trees Motel at AUD400. The room is not really that cheap compared to the hotels that we have stayed in Brisbane and Gold Coast. However, the environment of the surrounding area and the accommodating and friendly Manager and staff has more than made up for a pleasant stay. Everything is very compactly arrange to save... More

The owner of the Tall Tree Motel was very friendly and gave us a lift to the skywalk and a guided tour around Cedar Creek Falls as we didn`t have any transport. From the motel to Long Road by foot 15mins, Botanic Gardens 30mins, Glow worms cave 40mins, shopping centre 20mins. Curtis Falls across the road from motel. In the... More
