The Tamborine Mountain Rural Fire Brigade were looking for somewhere special to celebrate Christmas ,and Jacques Restaurant at Bungunyah Manor Resort was chosen firstly because of it's reputation for good old fashioned charm and known hospitality, secondly because of the excellent cuisine offered, and thirdly for it's central position and ample parking. All were very much deserved on the night. Chef Herman... More

On New years eve we found ourselves fortunate enough to book in last minute. Nothing was too hard for them and the old style charm of the venue had my children loving the place. It almost seemed they were on their best behaviour.

Fantastic short get away. As newly weds, we needed to get away from everyone : ) Wedding quests/family exhausted us. Very quiet, quaint and friendly environment. Drama free xxx Would be romantic in the winter months with the fireplace and red carpet.

We spent a night at Bungunyah Manor in Mt Tamborine. The hotel itself was charming and our room a delight - great to stay in a place with such history. The only downside was the grounds and pool needed attention so would recommend if you were planning to visit in summer and were counting on a swim. This is a... More

Part of the charm of this rustic property is that it has history. The property is well maintained and in keeping with a period property many of the features have been kept. Whilst there are some obvious issues with painting and some woodwork, cleanliness cannot be faulted. Our room was pleasant and well appointed although documentation could have been a... More

Bungunyah Manor was as festive and welcoming as ever. The decorations were lavish, the food exquisite, and with the magnificent roses in full bloom there was as much of a feast for the eyes as for the culinary palette and the soul. Anyone who could find a bad word to say about the place must be unhappy in themselves as... More

I had booked 2 nights to celebrate Xmas, 2 birthdays & 1 anniversary. So this was a special time for us, and a surprise to my partner. My heart sunk when I saw the street sign, with washed out paint, obviously old and not redone for a long time. As this is the face of their business to the world,... More

Hi Charlotte Thank you for your feedback however your review contains inaccurate information. The Christmas decorations throughout the Resort and Restaurant are indeed old having been collected from various parts of the World over the years. Many are also hand made by myself. They are not dusty or dirty. They are taken down and cleaned and packed away each year.... More

Fantastic location on Mt Tamborine right near the Gallery Walk. Lots of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. The onsite restaurant Jacques also had a great menu and we both enjoyed our meals. Rooms were very spacious and clean with a country feel. One of the nights was a bit foggy and rainy however the fireplace in our room was perfect... More

We recently used this hotel as a base for our daughters wedding. Kerrie on reception was extremely helpful especially as we were booking from the UK. They were very accommodating with early check in and were prepared to provide dinner on a Thursday evening which was something they didn't usually do. The rooms were very good and provided lots of...
