Really pretty place with indigenous staff: this must not be mistaken for the Ritz-Carlton but for a small indigenous town in southern Ecuador, it's a great place with friendly people, solid but comfortable beds, clean bathrooms with hot water, towels and really everything that a traveler of the world will appreciate. The staff went out of their way to feed... More

We were so impressed with the the beautiful location and gorgeous well-maintained gardens. Our room was spacious and clean. The views from both our room and dining room were amazing. the staff was friendly and helpful. Our stay was excellent and would return there again.

We work for a tourism magazine, and we are happy to declare that we included this nice hotel in our article. Its peaceful, quiet and has a impressive view over the village of Saraguro.Just 5 minutes walk from the center of the village and at the same time very isolated on a hill. I recomand it happily!

The room was clean and pleasant with an expansive view over the town. Wifi worked well. There was a TV, but no English channels. We were the only guests and maybe because of this we had the feeling that the staff were prepared to do the bare minimum necessary for us. We had booked a room in advance, but they... More

The room was noisy and had mold, the bed a rock, and the pillows thin. Asked for chicken for dinner, we're served fish that I did not eat. The lentils and rice weren't even up to par. Breakfast was also substandard. Paid upfront for two nights, left after one. We're reimbursed part of our second's night payment. Room did have... More

really lucked out and caught the beginning of their festival starting Friday March 1st. Saturday music in San Lucas was outstanding. Sunday market in Saraguro also excellent. Hostel community run and has great views of town, rooms are roomy, firm beds, showers hot when we were there. Breakfast so so, I think it's a new karaoke bar down the way,... More

A $1 taxi ride from the bus to a beautiful brick complex with charming indigenous staff running it on behalf of the cooperative. Maria speaks serviceable English. Rooms are spacious and in immaculate condition. The hot water is only just hot enough. Breakfast can be a bit disorganised but overall it is a small inconvenience. I enjoyed the place and... More

I spent the weekend in Saraguro and stayed here for one night. It was absolutley perfect. The setting a few minutes walk out of town up on a hill provides great views of Saraguro and the surrounding mountains. I'd recommend first taking the $1.00 taxi there, then once you have your bearings, it an easy walk down to the main... More
