We stayed here April 5 to 11, 2014. As others have mentioned the beds were extremely hard. so don't be surprised. The rooms were dated, but clean. You get one bottle of drinking water in your room at the beginning of your stay and can fill it at the bar or purchase new ones at the gift shop. There isn't... More

We stayed at this resort from March 21 - 28, 2014 with another couple and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We really liked the fact that the resort was not overcrowded nor was it overly loud. The food was much better than we have had at other resorts that are of higher star ratings and the staff are very eager to... More

Ola!! We stayed here Feb 17-24, 2014 - a nice getaway from the snow and frigid temperatures back home. No bells and whistles, no coffee maker, hairdryer (half hour loans from the lobby!), clock, face cloths, extra shampoo/conditioner, bar fridge. One 750ml bottle of water was free, the rest you could buy at the gift shop, not recommended to drink... More

We just got back from Los Angeles Locos, and I miss it already. This resort is quite different from any that we'd been to before. It's in the middle of nowhere, isn't surrounded by other resorts, and (thankfully) wasn't filled with young kids just there to get drunk! Our room was well kept, and had two double beds. Like all... Resort is in a lovely but remote setting -- 3 km. of cobblestoned switchbacks from the highway, on a wide 1-km beach. The coastline is gorgeous, the region hilly and undeveloped, with a few small towns and villages. It is 90 mins from the nearest large city of Manzanillo, an hour from the airport, 45 mins from the smaller city... More

The resort was fine, the food was ok lots of fresh fruit and veg and their breads were excellent. The beach is beautiful and the resort is kept clean and our rooms were always cleaned but had to always ask for more towels. It was quiet during the week but by Friday it was very loud and busy with the Mexican... The hotel was fine, food was good and service was excellent. Our only problem was there was not enough shade. Nine of us were trying to get shade under one umbrella. People were saving chairs all day with towels and not showing up. For this reason alone we would not go back but we had a great week. We made... More

We just arrived back from this beautiful place. The meals were very good and the people helpful and friendly. The International resturant was most enjoyable. If I had any suggestions it would be to have more shaded areas and some tables outside during the day.

My wife and I stayed at los Angeles locos Feb21-28. One kind of loses a day on arrival--didnt arrive at resort until around 6:00 P.M.. It is over an hour ride by modern A/C bus with a very entertaining driver. The ONLY complaint we had about the whole week there was the fact that on arrival---a shower was definately in... More

This was our fourth trip to this resort. It is now back under the original ownership & we see improvements already.Staff are always friendly & obliging . This is truly a Mexican oriented place. Lots of Spanish spoken, because most of the tourists are Mexican families. Tons of fresh fruit, excellent omelette grill & huge variety of breakfast choices. Salads... More
