The hotel staff was not very friendly. We were given a dirty room to begin with and horrible customer service. They stole $100 from one of my mothers bags and could not get anyone to fess up. The restaraunt was decent but you have to stand in line at 7am to get a ticket to go.. and you only get... more

What a beautiful setting, huge south facing sandy bay. All inclusive with a variety of fresh foods, usual fare but also an omelet bar at breakfast, fresh fish on the griddle at lunch, and Mexican foods at dinner. In the past 10 years since we were there last it has gone from 10% Mexican guests to 90% Mexican guests, which... more

My husband and I stayed one week at the Blue Bay Los Angeles Locos in Tenacatita Bay, from January 24th to 31st. We were in the area for two weeks; the second week we were at a condo in Barra de Navidad (planned that way). We flew on West Jet from Calgary, Alberta, and Air Transat charter (just booked two... more

Four of us travelled to the Blue bay resort and we had a wonderful time. The hotel and grounds are just as the other reviews portrayed. It was beautiful and very clean. We stayed 2 weeks and would have felt very cheated if we had only stayed a week. We were fortunate enough to have travelled there in January as... more

I have been at this resort twice in less than a month. For economy reasons and the beautifuly beach and quiet relaxation. They do have a disco, but it is not a place for wild times. The resort is not close to town. If you want to visit any place other than the resort you must pay a taxi fare... more

We were all very excited to go to Manzanillo and off to the "Blue Bay" as there was 17 of us attending a friends wedding in addition to enjoying a 2 week holiday. My husband and I have travelled to many areas of Mexico and have absolutely enjoyed every one until "THE BLUE BAY LOS ANGELES". We arrived in Manzanillo... more

Our family of five stayed at this resort for two weeks at the begining of December 2008 and we really enjoyed our stay. FOOD: We really enjoyed the food and found it to be fresh and tasty. We enjoy simple food with a tilt toward authentic Mexican dishes. Our expectations were to eat food similar to what might be served... more

I was there to visit friends who were there for a week. I went directly to the reception when I arrived, as directed by the gate attendant, the receptionist was more interested in finding out what her boyfriend had for lunch then acknowledging I was there. When I finally caught her eye she was not at all friendly or interested... more

OK........here's the way I saw it......First off I'm 55 years old and came alone. About 20 of us arrived from Victoria Canada not knowing each other. By the say third day most of us had become acquainted, as in sitting with each other during meals, and chatting by the pool or on the beach. I am probably your typical middle... more

I was part of a 17 person wedding party that travelled to Blue Bay for a Valentine Day 2008 wedding. Out of the 17 of us 14 became seriously ill while staying at this hotel. We talked to the front desk people & they said that it was only our group sick (maybe the wedding food) but we then talked... more
