Stay for 6 nights not worth the money. Plus they have an additional fee of $27 a day not included in the package deal. The hotel employees only help those they believe will give them a good tip. No one is helpful and the rooms are disgusting. My restroom had a leak from the ceiling. Lamps, radio, telephone in the... more

Love that the hotel is just a few minutes from the airport, cost was supposed to be $12, but we were charged $13. We paid without fuss. Check in unbelievably long, other than that, we called concierge and front desk often for information and they were always kind and helpful. Had a clean, non-ocean front room with 2 double beds.... more

Stayed for 6 days and really enjoyed ourselves. We found an unbelievable rate that made this trip steal we couldn't pass up. Given the hotel rate, we were not disappointed when we learned that even the Club Level rooms were not up to par with the other InterContinentals we have stayed at in the US. The hotel is obviously a... more

Room service stole my blackberry from our locked hotel room-The Americas Guest Services department said that since it wasn't in a safe they weren't responsible for their employee taking it. Really? Are they somehow exempt from laws against theft? Three people at the hotel including a supervisor of security and member of management all said they would call back after... more

The grounds are fabulous. The rooms were ok -aging and in need of a little updating. the hairs found on the towels were a daily concer-Yuk! If you book here, be sure to ask for everything that you are supposed to get with your package. We paid extra to join the Ambassador program in order to upgrade to an oceanview.... more

We stayed in the second half of June with our baby who was 16 months then after making a significant research of hotels to stay. Our expectation was that the hotel is kids- friendly and it was a major factor for us to decide. The check-in took way too long. The line was long and the speed at which the... more

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and though the prices for the restaurants are pricey, it is in line with having an overnight stay at any top quality hotel. You'll pay $14 for a hamburger, but you'll pay $14 for a burger at Applebees. The pool was immaculate, never a shortage of chairs, we were 10 people. Prices are $10 for... more

We really enjoyed this hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the bed surprisingly good. We got a 12th floor with ocean view, which was fine. The pool with it's waterfalls was very nice and we had no problem getting a lounge chair or two. The beach bar is pricey as to be expected, but the service was... more

My wife and I did a last minute trip through Cheap Carribean. Everything went very smoothly and was better than some of the reviews reported. Arriving at 8:00 a.m., we checked in quickly and were given a 14th floor room. We did notice that starting around 3:00 pm, there was always a line to check in. The hotel is very... more

I just returned from a week at the Intercontinental San Juan with my family. We are 2 adults and 2 boys aged 7 and 17. The hotel and the staff were exceptional. The public areas are great. The pool and beach are fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and clean. A little small for 4 people. We had the ocean view... more
