We stayed in a condo unit in the Marbella del Caribe complex...ocean view is wonderful! The beach area was fairly quiet and clean -very good for walking, etc. Across the street is a good Mexican style restaurant -El Taquito. Within walking distance is Walgreen's, and other restaurants that we would recommend is Drums, Mi Casita - and if you have to wait - it is worth it - authentic, busy place, friendly staff and very good food!!, Church's Chicken and the best Pina Colada is at Barrachuna's as well as the best atmosphere and food - but expect to pay more than at the other places. There is a Metropol within walking distance also - we had eaten at one in Fajardo after hiking in the El Yunque Rainforest - and it was very good food and service. The Rainforest is a must!!! And the Vieques Biobay trip with East Wind Cats (East Island Excursions) was loads of fun! Lots of rum! more
