We stayed there with our timeshare for the first time this June through Royal Holiday. The entire area of Palmas de Mar is beautiful. It suffered greatly after the 1998 Hurricane George, but it slowly recovering and is on its way. It is its own contained little city. I traded my timeshare elsewhere and had no idea I'd end up here. We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the unit and the amenities were basic but OK.
