Really good experience. We stayed here for 4 nights and used all three of the bedrooms available. It was clean and comfortable and welcoming. K and B took us on a snorkeling and monkey island adventure which was well run and lots of fun. We used the nature preserve to run and walk and went into the ocean there. There... More

First off, it is important to know what Barefoot Travelers is and is not. Although Tripadvisor categorizes it as a B&B, it is a guesthouse, which is different. This means that you will be making your own breakfast (in a well equipped kitchen), and the guest house (while totally comfortable) feels exactly like staying at a friend's place. The owners'... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barefoot Travelers. The home is spacious, well maintained, completely equipped for cooking, well decorated and the owners are very nice. Whatever you do, do not miss the Monkey Island kayak trip. It is convenient to dining and water sports. We would definitely stay there again.

Keishya and Bob have a great home in a really nice location. It is so close to the beach, nature reserve, and park yet close to main stores too. The rooms are cute and comfortable. Poolside area is relaxing and inside is homey with a living room and tv. We felt very relaxed. We only have two complaints, although not... More

Dear Ben and Amber, What a nightmare! I am so very sorry to hear that you ran out of toilet paper. Not sure how that could have happened as we did ask Ben several times each day if you needed anything, including toilet paper…however it obviously did and I apologize for this unfortunate occurrence. In the future to be sure... More

We stayed four days with Keishya and Bob at Barefoot Traveler. The neighborhood was not quite what we expected, but that made it all the more charming. We had the beach to ourselves because it appeared most of the other residents are seasonal and they weren't around in April. We enjoyed the pool, the local restaurants and Humacao Nature Reserve... This was our first vacation in Puerto Rico and our first lodging outside of San Juan. We were very lucky to find Barefoot Travelers Guesthouse. For starters the location is unbeatable, in a gated community, six houses from an ocean beach, and next door to a nature preserve. So there's plenty to do outdoors as well as at their home... More

Barefoot was clearly the best lodging value during our 10 day vacation in Puerto Rico. The accommodations were clean and neat. Bob is an absolute artist and a true professional with his hang gliding instruction. He was thorough, clear, and calm which put us at ease as we watched our only child glide off into the sky with him. Keisha... More

My partner and I visited Keisha and Bob in early January 2015 and had a wonderful time. I especially recommend the kayak trip to the Island of Monkeys. These wonderful hosts are very accommodating and friendly. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. There are a lot of wonderful restaurants nearby, including an open-air joint with wonderful pernil mofongo.

We had a very nice stay at Barefoot Travelers Rooms. Bedroom with private bathroom- spacious and clean. A huge kitchen is available to cook...feeling like home! We did not have time to enjoy the swimming pool...next time for sure! Very easy to communicate with Keysha & Bob. Check in and check out time can be adjusted to your need! Also,... More

We had a wonderful stay at Barefoot Travelers! Keishya and Bob were wonderful hosts. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The shared areas (kitchen, dining area and living room) were also very clean and comfortable. We elected to kayak to Monkey Island with Keishya which I highly recommend! The kayak out was not very strenuous and the monkeys are... More
