Enjoy PR away from other tourists! We spent three super relaxing days here. A few short blocks of a walk take you to a beach, a nature reserve to explore, and a fabulous restaurant of Puerto Rican food. The house itself is very comfortable, I loved the old tile floors and pink exterior, surrounded by fruit trees. We enjoyed a... More

On a past trip to Puerto Rico, while hang-gliding with Keishya and Bobby, we were told that they owned a guest house on the east coast of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of the mega-resorts and the various "resort fees" and other marked-up experiences that go along with being a pampered tourist. So we decided to book... More

Barefoot Travelers Rooms are great! My husband and I traveled with our daughter and her husband; we rented one bedroom and they had another so we each had our own bathroom which was nice. Full kitchen with all utensils and a big dining room table plus a tv room and hammock made for a lovely stay. But the best part... More

My boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxing place for one night as he had a big interview the following day. This was the ideal place! We booked the master room with the private bath but we ended up having the house to ourselves that night. Bob and Keishya are incredibly sweet people and great to talk to while... More

My husband I spent four nights at Barefoot with Keishya and Bob during our Easter break. We had one bedroom with an adjoining bath, and enjoyed the large kitchen (fully equipped) and living area (with a wonderful hammock). The beach was a short walk from the house, and was very quiet and private (plus Barefoot provided beach chairs, towels and... More

Really good experience. We stayed here for 4 nights and used all three of the bedrooms available. It was clean and comfortable and welcoming. K and B took us on a snorkeling and monkey island adventure which was well run and lots of fun. We used the nature preserve to run and walk and went into the ocean there. There... More

First off, it is important to know what Barefoot Travelers is and is not. Although Tripadvisor categorizes it as a B&B, it is a guesthouse, which is different. This means that you will be making your own breakfast (in a well equipped kitchen), and the guest house (while totally comfortable) feels exactly like staying at a friend's place. The owners'... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barefoot Travelers. The home is spacious, well maintained, completely equipped for cooking, well decorated and the owners are very nice. Whatever you do, do not miss the Monkey Island kayak trip. It is convenient to dining and water sports. We would definitely stay there again.

Keishya and Bob have a great home in a really nice location. It is so close to the beach, nature reserve, and park yet close to main stores too. The rooms are cute and comfortable. Poolside area is relaxing and inside is homey with a living room and tv. We felt very relaxed. We only have two complaints, although not... More

Dear Ben and Amber, What a nightmare! I am so very sorry to hear that you ran out of toilet paper. Not sure how that could have happened as we did ask Ben several times each day if you needed anything, including toilet paper…however it obviously did and I apologize for this unfortunate occurrence. In the future to be sure... More

We stayed four days with Keishya and Bob at Barefoot Traveler. The neighborhood was not quite what we expected, but that made it all the more charming. We had the beach to ourselves because it appeared most of the other residents are seasonal and they weren't around in April. We enjoyed the pool, the local restaurants and Humacao Nature Reserve...
