We had a very pleasant stay at the Karibea Salako. The room was quite nice, although not fancy. Nice beach/sea view. The shower was wonderful and hot! This was a terrific family hotel. We stayed in the Salako portion of the hotel. There are also suites and more basic accomodations at the Karibea. This hotel is a dump. More ants on the roomfloor than waiter to serve you. A place very loud, don't expect to sleep during the "event nights". Towels changed when maid wished to.
