My husband and I had dinner here on our last night in Quebec. Visiting this charming cottage was like stepping back in time. The atmosphere was welcoming and real. There was friendly service and fantastic food. We had a full course dinner and found it to be very reasonable and wonderfully flavorful. It may be the best meal we have... More

Stopped by on the way back from Ste Anne-du-Beaupre because it was supper time and we didn't want to try to figure out where to eat at the hotel in Quebec City. We simply saw a toad sign and my wife and i always look for a small place off the beaten path whenever we travel. What a joy. The... More

We had the good fortune to stop here for lunch when we did a Quebec countryside tour. It is outside of the city, set in the countryside, off the beaten path. It is small & charming - looks ancient inside, but oh what a gem. The owner & servers were gracious & attentive. The food was exceptional!! - 4 courses-... More

This is set in an old house. It has a few rooms, all smallish but comfortable and really nice. Lots of wood, private bathroom/showers etc. The complimentary breakfast is also very nice. It's close to les Chutes Montmorency as well as to l'Île d'Orleans where you can visit vineyards, cider shops and buy notorious strawberries from Île d'Orléans. It's fairly... More

Our Quebec countryside tour bus stopped at the Baker Inn - Auberge Baker for lunch - hidden along a back road the quaint Inn was a surprise. Tables were setup for our group and our orders were taken. The decor was country French -lace curtains and antiques - quaint down home feeling. Service was excellent and the food was exceptional.... More

If I return to Quebec, I would not even think about staying anywhere else. I loved it here. So charming. Excellent staff. The location is pretty close to Quebec City. There is a wonderful beer bar down the street. The restaurant at the inn is excellent. I loved every moment of my time in this inn,

The staff at the Auberge went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable during our four nights' stay in the Chambre Baker. We loved the fireplace and the sumptuous dinners in the restaurant. The breakfasts were great--we tried out all of the three meals on offer over the course of our stay--and the service was friendly and professional.... More

We spent two nights in the Baker room and loved it. The food was fantastic, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room is beautiful. Love the history and charm. We went to Canyon St. Anne and did the deluxe rock climbing - book ahead - we just squeezed in. We also visited Sept Chutes and toured the hydro electric... More

My husband and I recently went to Beaupre, Quebec to skii and The Baker Inn was recommended to us by the proprietors of the condo. Well it was exceptional - the food was delicious, the service was excellent and the ambiance of the perfectly restored historical farmhouse was flawless. Value for money for the meal was excellent. We would recommend... More
