Wonderful sleep, great bed, very clean room and quiet! The motel is next to the best Resturant in town too!! This is our 3rd time staying here and we will come back the next time we are in the area. One of our favourite hotels on the road.

I found a charge several weeks after booking my room online on my credit card! Gross hotel with terrible owners. Owners lied to me about booking.com fees also and tried to deal with that through booking and hotel told me they'd refund me and booking spoke to them for me after I talked to booking and said the hotel would... Seems clean.. A little dated.. But ok. Bathroom needs an upgrade.. But it is clean enough. Beds clean and well made.. Can hear trains across the street.. But that doesn't bother me. $99/night plus $20 if you need a cot for extra people. Beds need shuffling to fit cot.

We needed a room unxpectantly due to hwy closure Room was old, but very very clean; bathroom was clean with plenty of good sized fluffy towels. The bed was the best we slept in over a five week travel period. Slept with BR window open all nite...trains no bother, even tho they are right across the road Would stay again...the... More

This hotel is very disgusting. I spend my career staying in hotels and motels. They gave me a non smoking room that smelled like an ashtray. The carpets have weird stains all over the place. I was very grossed out. The only thing this motel has going for it. Is that the people are friendly. I will never stay here... More

It may seem strange, but yes this is pretty good accomodation for Highway 16. No motel in Houston will meet expectations if your unfamiliar with what is available in Northern British Columbia or places further north. In this part of the world most motels older places, built in the 1970's that have been renovated periodically. You'll find newer, much more... More

I have watched this motel go from not so good to excellent. The rooms have been re-done..carpets floors....to bedspreds and new tvs! Very clean with the owner at front desk being very nice. I would recomend staying here. The prices are fair the rooms are clean and spacious and the owner is very nice!

Had a single bed room (queenish size). The room has a large tv, fridge, microwave and toaster as well as free Wi-Fi. Condition of the room was ok for the price, bathroom is a little outdated. But the freight trains ! the tracks are right across the road from the motel and seemed to go by all night. I used... More

This is the first time written a negative review. Normally fairly tolerant. Booked online after seeing it was rated the best of Houston's Hotels. Never would have gone in if had seen it from the road first. Generally shabby and no better on close inspection. Whole place in need of renovation. Towels frayed. Sink breaking up. No AC. However what... More

Checked in at midnight on route to another destination. Front desk was pleasant enough. Motel is dated and the rooms are clean, but the beds were hard and uncomfortable and the passing trains outside woke me up a couple of times throughout the night. Won't stay here again.
