Imposing hotel which is badly in need of refurbishment by the hotel group which owns it. Our room was comfortable, clean but jaded and at £55.00BB per person was definately not value for money. The public areas are in a state of delapidation and decidely stale. The buffet breakfast was adequate although had been sitting out for quite some time. We... more

Stayed here on a golf weekend and got a rate of £55/ night DBB. Should have expected at such a cheap rate that it was not going to be up to much. On the plus side, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the location was good. On the negative side the interior looks about 20 years overdue for... more

we have stayed at this hotel three times this year - april, june and august. i think this probably says it all! the meals are wonderful and very plentiful. Have taken our dog with us each time and the staff have been so welcoming and friendly. Have always requested the same room overlooking the lovely gardens. We are going back... more

We read a few reviews and decided to go and see for ourself what this hotel was like! There was my husband and 3 children age 10, 8 and 3 and we had to twin rooms right next door to each other. We stayed for 3 nights dinner, bed and breakfast and the price was fantastic for 5 of us.... more

My husband and I spent 5 nights here as part of a large group. The public rooms were fine, comfortable lounge. The bedrooms were somewhat seedy with poor quality bedding and we both left with bad backs.. En suite was cramped and uninviting. Small. ancient TV set. Food was plentiful but very poor. Packet mix soup. roast meat cut cold... more

Nice Victorian building spoilt by being very shabby and jaded. Our first night bar supper was so poor we didn't chance having dinner in the dining room the following night - the menu was a set 3 course meal started at £23. ( Instead we drove to the Cairngorm Hotel in Aviemore where we know from past experience that the... more

We love it here. We go every year or two for a few days and enjoy the Highland countryside and the relaxed environment of the hotel. The staff and service are excellent. The food is lovely traditional Scottish, wholesome fare. What we like best is that our two dogs are welcome and we go out of the hotel into the... more

Staying at the big Victorian hotel in Nethy Bridge was like stepping back in time. It was a lovely experience. A warm, welcoming fire in the lobby set the tone and the most gracious staff reinforced it. They were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and just lovely, as is the downstairs lounge and dinning room.... more

I remember this hotel with absolute fondness. My family and I stayed here during XMAS 2007 and it was simply wonderful. The biggest plus point to this hotel is the surrounding area, and walking along the river Spey on a frosty Christmas morning was beautiful. And its proximity in the highlands, close to Aviemore, is another advantage. Yes, there are... more

A stay at Netthybridge hotel is as previous reviews state, is going back in time a decade or two, but, is that a bad thing? The service is very 'traditional', the food hearty scotts fayre - im a typical bloke and having the option of a steak with my eggs for breakfast is enough for me. Dinner Piping hot broth... more
