Something of a faded relic, we were impressed by the value for money here. It's sad to see places like this that have seen better days and I'm sure they could put up their prices a bit and invest more in the place. Friendly service, reasonable bar food and good breakfast. Has wifi in lounge and bar areas only.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel in the middle of nowhere! What a lovely location - we really liked it, walked around the nearby river and did a few trips to Inverness and Aviemore. The service level, from receptionist, through manager and night keeper were all excellent, they really tried their best and were always ready to help and... More

Been visiting this hotel since the 90's, during this time Dougal McTavish came down from the hills to celebrate Xmas, loads of banter and games during the meal and loads of memories! However, this visit lacked a wee bit of the above. Believe the hotel is under new management, we went with a large party of friends and had arranged... More

We checked into The Nethybridge Hotel late in the evening. Rooms are large-ish and clean. Staff friendly. We were looking for places to go out for a drink, but since it was late and it was rainy, we stayed put. Enjoyed a few drinks at the well-appointed hotel bar. The breakfast was a hearty and kept us going most of... More

Lovely hotel in a quiet area. Not too far from Aviemore and Grantown on Spey, but away from the hustle and bustle. Felt a bit "alone" here in the evenings as there is one shop that shuts at 6pm. Hotel is lovely, a bit tired, but room was large and immaculate. I would rather have stayed B&B as the meals... More

This hotel was charming in its own way although a bit secluded, it was the very reason for booking the place. A good place to stay for walkers although the location does not offer a view from the hotel, the service and staff make up for it.

We booked an Autumn Wine & Dine Break for the 6th to the 10th October. On arival we were given room 206. The state of this room was totally unacceptable. The shower was black with mould. The door closing mechanism was hanging off the wall and in places the carpet was worn through to the backing. On complaining we were... More

Stayed for two nights mid week in October 2014. Hotel used as base for short golfing break taking in local course as well as Carrbridge, Dalfaber and on the way home Blairgowrie(short course). All staff we're extremely pleasant and helpful despite being obviously very busy. Took time and made us feel very welcome. Evening meal taken in dinning area in... More

This was a last minute weekend away to the Aviemore area. We booked three rooms, a double and two singes (actually provided twin rooms) for one night in October 2014. It would be easy to write that this hotel could do with some tarting up but actually part of its charm is the fact that its age shows its character.... More

Booked into this hotel for a one night stay to reach nearby Aviemore. From the outside, it's an old fashioned hotel with a lot of period features. The bar, restaurant and reception areas all very classical looking but in good condition, so looked really good. Got a double room on the second floor, which was extremely outdated. The decor was...
