I've read a lot of reviews telling this place is out dated but if you take the time to take a better look you'll apreciate how they manage to keep things in the old style. Rooms were clean, service was great. Staff was helpfull and polite. We'd some very nice entertainment on the Friday evening. Breakfast was good and dinner was... More

Strategically poised, we thought the hotel would offer a comfortable break from our long journey. The rooms were spacious but need modernising. The TV in one room might as well have been black and white. The corridors had a pungent smell. When I mentioned this to the Polish manager she seemed surprised which showed me that she has no interest... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay at the Nethybridge Hotel. We are about to start renovating some of our bedrooms however there is ongoing maintenance carried out within the hotel. We have just received new televisions for all our rooms. Thank you for making me aware of the smell in the corridors. When you mentioned... More

Ok the décor is tired and it needs a refurb. I found the staff to be friendly and always smiling. Breakfast was standard nothing to write home about but you know it was ok. I did not eat evening meals so no comment. My room was at the back of the hotel, no view. There were new drapes at the... More

Oh dear, what a disappointment. I had read some good and some bad reviews but always like to make my own mind up. Got a reasonable deal from Groupon, £69 for dinner bed and breakfast, wine and tea/coffee and biscuits. Looking at the outside of the hotel when we arrived and before going in I could see it wanted some... More

Hotel reminds me of a Blackpool b& b in the 80s hotel needing a lot of money spent on it to bring it up to modern standards couldn't open all the windows in the room because they were rotten bathroom wasn't very clean but the sheets were clean one good thing was the food 10 out of 10 for the... Checked in and promptly checked out again yuk! Could not have slept there. The smell hits you as you walk in the front door and room décor is ancient and the TV must be an antique. We were looking for a nice relaxing couple of nights away this was not going to be it. And charging £99 B&B for the... More

Well, after reading some of the comments,we didn't know what to expect!...On arriving,we found an old, beautiful hotel, which is yes a little tired, but our twin room was lovely, comfortable, spacious, clean and perfect for our stay. The staff were all very helpful, and anything we asked about, was seen to very quickly. There is now a new manager, and She will definitely be updating this lovely hotel. WE WILL... More

Its a review from 54 tourist who spent night over at Nethybridge. Place looks awesome from outside as its listed building but as your enter its a labyrinth, lift only fits 3 people without luggage and just one with luggage. Rooms are small compared to Novotel, Bathroom was very small no place to brush and use wash basin, less space... More

A small mixup on rooms when i first arrived, but when sorted I have fantastic room with a garden view. Breakfast food quality was very good. I see that some money has been spent on the interior (new lift) although I loved the old cage lift. Very comfortable lounge. All staff very polite and helpful. Will been looking to book... More
