This is a hotel has great potential but is crying out for a decent renovation. Our room was clean and had nice views but everything felt 'cheap'. The main updating seems to have been in the 70s. Perhaps in the boxed in staircase there is a beautiful banister trying to get out! Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar food was... More

We went to the Nethy Bridge Hotel for dinner while we were staying in Nethy Bridge. We booked a table for 7:30 and arrived at 7:15. I was immediately concerned the minute we were shown to our table. As I pulled out my chair to sit down the chair was so badly stained I thought someone had wet themselves in it... More

If you are looking for boring chain style hotel accommodation the Nethybridge is not for you. But if you are looking for character and quirkiness then give the Nethybridge a try. I didn't dine there - I had other arrangements - but the breakfast was adequate. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I was on the ground floor for... More

We had a bar meal in the Hotel while staying in Self Catering Accommodation in Nethy Bridge. There was a smallish menu with one or two items crossed out, so not much choice. The food was OK for the price paid but what we did witness was two staff having an argument behind the bar which seemed to continue every... More

My wee dog and I stayed in this hotel again for a short break. The people are so friendly and helpful and the food is extremely good for this type of hotel. It has its faults - like the ancient lift - but it is great value for money. If you are looking for a quiet area but with Aviemore... More

We have just returned from having spent one week DBB, in this lovely old hotel. We had a lovely , very large , garden view room. Quiet and peaceful . The manager and staff are a credit to the the hotel , they made you feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The quality of food every night... More

This hotel is still the best value relaxing break we have come across. £149 per person for Dinner bed and breakfast for 3 nights. So that's less than £300 and included a trip on the Strathspey Railway which is worth £14 each. This is not a modern hotel full of gadgets, but it does have genuine local staff, good food... More

Great welcome at his hotel . The children and their dog were made most welcome and the adults appreciated the service and relaxed atmosphere. The staff being long term and local were there because they enjoyed their work and their relationship with the Manager appeared to be one of mutual respect.. We most certainly will return.

Just spent three days at Nethybridge on a golfing break. Three nights dinner bed and breakfast at a fabulous price. Food was excellent and staff very friendly. Yes there are some rooms which could do to be redecorated but I've stayed in other plush hotels and not enjoyed my stay so much!

Stayed in this hotel for two nights whilst attending a wedding nearby. I knew in advance that this was an old hotel but I didn't expect it to be stuck in the past! The reception areas are very tired and the bar is not somewhere you would want to spend time. Reception staff and bar staff left a lot to... More

Thank you for posting your review and I am so sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay at the hotel. We are are beginning a period of bedroom and bathroom refurbishment, with some completed already, however this is no excuse for poor cleanliness and broken furniture that should either be repaired or thrown-out. Please accept my apologies... More
