There is nothing to add to PERFECT is there ? Beautiful house. Spotlessly clean. Great location, great food. Perfect local produce used for meals, perfectly cooked. Great proprietors. Wonderful hospitality. If all this sounds too good to be true I will criticise one thing. The power shower in my bathroom could have had a bit more zooomph to it !... More

We used Kiltearn House as a stopover for a short business trip to this Highlands area. We really loved the house and would like to live there ourselves! The location is beautiful and peaceful with views across the water and surrounding countryside, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The bed and pillows are good quality and very comfortable, rooms are... More

Lovely home, beautifully and tastefully furnished, great location on the firth, and wonderful hosts. Simply the most comfortable and relaxing place to enjoy the views of the Black Isle across the firth. The meals are superb, rooms spotless, and the hosts are helpful and informative to all their visitors. After two days I can say without question that I shall... More

A lovely and charming old house, warm welcome and beautiful surroundings. Sadly we could only spend one night here because of our schedule, otherwise we would have stayed for some more. Clean rooms with good beds, a lounge downstairs, delicious food and great hospitality. There is just no flaw we can mention. Thanks for having us, we had the best... More

I got a nice warm welcome at Kiltearn House. Dinner and breakfast were both exceptional; just what I needed after long day. The room was spacious, clean and warm. The view across the water was lovely. I particularly liked the thick curtains that help me sleep. Ed gave me a great tip about the Black Rock Gorge. You must ask... More

Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. We had arranged to have Dinner which was very good. Visually appealing and very tasty. The breakfast was equally as good.... More

We had a very enjoyable two-night stay here in April 2013. The location is really special looking out onto the estuary, so peaceful, surrounded by fields and nothing to hear but birdsong. The house is an old-style manse which has been modernised and we were up-graded free of charge which was a great start. The room was lovely with a... More
