We stumbled across this hotel one very wet evening when looking for a hotel near Inverness. We had the last 2 rooms, there are only 9. Ours was a smallish double but had a superb bathroom. Beautiful rooms that were well decorated and lots of room. The view over a lake and the hill behind was breath taking. Very quiet hotel, hardly any staff. Included a good hot breakfast. Good for day trips to Inverness, Loch Ness and surrounding area. more

Confusingly, there is a Kinkell House Guest House in Inverness and a Kinkell House HOTEL in Easter Kinkell on the Black Isle between Inverness and Dingwall. I stayed at the latter country house hotel and can recommend it very warmly to anyone wanting a quiet and comfortable room, good food and a WONDERFUL view. It's very quiet but not far... more
