The staff at the hotel are very helpful, organised and efficient. The rooms for meetings are excellent size with good acoustics and the catering was very good - very competitive pricing. Bed rooms are clean and tidy with all necessary features. Important to understand that this is an old building full of character, this means it is not a modern... More

Mr friend and I stayed here last July. I absolutely loved the castle. Wonderful staff, delicious breakfast. Set atop a mountain. I could see sheep and stars from my window at night. I had internet connection the entire time but my friend whose room was on the other side of the castle didn't have internet at all. It is also... More

My partner and I were bought a one night stay here as a Christmas gift. It's old and tired but then it's a castle for heavens sake. If you want electronic gadgets, impressive wi-fi and all the other trappings of modern hotels then it's just not for you. However, if you're looking for peace, quiet, fantastic local history, amazing good... More

Stayed here for 1 night with family but wish we could of stayed longer . The staff on reception were very friendly and even offered us a late light dinner even though we arrived after 10 at night. Our family Room was huge and beds were very comfy! Breakfast was lovely! The grounds are lovely for a walk around it... More

Again, we arrived after dark so couldn't see much of the building. Inside was charming, if a little dated, but it's a castle, after all. Our room was large, comfortable and warm (even had to leave the window cracked to sleep), and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Was looking at a family tree in the lobby, and noticed the... Stayed at Tulloch with my family for the holidays. What a beautiful place with outstanding customer service!!! Make sure that you get the ghost tour by Rodney he is absolutely the most informed and is continuously researching more and more about the history of the castle. Cameron might be there to help you with all your other needs and ask... More

It is not expensive which makes the overall review not as bad as could be. Ghost tour was the best! Food was good in the evening. Breakfast - not so much. Omlette wasn't cooked properly so still a bit of raw egg. Room was cold and bathroom was awful. Small freezing and no window. Bar was good and the bar... More
