I only stayed one night. Check in staff courteous and helpful. A promising start. Room was very nice and clean with lovely views- noticed one of the curtain tie backs was ripped- disappointing. Breakfast room was not the normal one which was being decorated, I think. I attached in breakfast room and all staff were ensconced behind the scenes. Eventually,... More

Stayed there for a weekend and not what expected from a four star hotel. The whole hotel is in need of some TLC, outside paint work needing done. Room 5 had had a leak through the ceiling at one point and the wall paper badly stained and ceiling had had a badly done patch up job. The floor in our... More

Not your typical castle as the building has changed significantly since the 'castle' time. However it does have great history and beautifully furnished rooms. Our room was at the back so no view, the beds were fine and the temperature could be easily changed to suit. The only disappointing thing was the obvious lack of care from the room cleaners... More

Yes it is in need of attention, but it's very old and there's a lot of it! Reception was efficient and friendly, room was decent size - agreed a bit tired but not worryingly so - a few dinks and nicks here and there, that's all. Very traditional and castley. Few mod cons, as you might expect. The biggest problem... More

Efficient and friendly check in with the offer of help for my bags. Would advise anyone staying here to keep luggage to a minimum because of all the stairs you encounter. Room 3 where I stayed this time was bright and cheerful. The bed was comfortable, ensuite was small but did the job ok. Decor a wee bit tired but... More

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights for business. The hotel is quite imposing sat half way up a hill over looking Dingwall. I was in room 7 which was up several flights of stairs and didn't have much of a view. The room was spacious clean and pleasant to stay in. A small but functional en suite and... More

We arrived late one night after an exhausting day of travel delays. They were kind enough to call for a taxi to meet us at the train station. When we arrived, we waited by a huge roaring fire and were checked in quickly. We had missed dinner and the kitchen was closed, however, they brought us complimentary parsnip soup and... More

We stayed at the Tulloch Castle Hotel for my wifes birthday and enjoyed our stay. We had room 17 which has a four poster bed and ensuite, the bed was a genuine old time four poster which was a bit squeaky however given its age I am not suprised. The matress was not what we are used to at home... More
