Who wouldn't want to stay in a castle?! We were traveling with friends and they booked this hotel for us. The room was spacious yet quaint with its own fireplace and separate sitting area and the bed was both comfortable and a beautiful 4 poster. 2 windows with heavy fabric curtains. The lobby and reception area were decorated to suit... More

Excellent hotel. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which made our stay all the better. Breakfast was lovely. My parents enjoyed their stay here and I am looking forward to returning with the family.

Just returned from a week traveling around Scotland with my sister, and our stay at Tulloch Castle Hotel was a highlight! The ambiance of the castle was not impaired by the renovations that are currently underway. Graham was a wonderful host in the Green Lady Bar, which provided a wonderful dinner, topped off by Graham's own concoction, the Braveheart! Graham... More

We stayed in this hotel as a treat last week and loved every second. The family room we had (room 19) was spacious and elegant, with a large bathroom. We had a great meal in the restaurant and the breakfast was good too. The staff were lovely. We stayed up late to do the ghost tour which was great fun,... More

It was my first experience staying in a real Castle Hotel. It's a bit difficult to find, so recommend a Sat-Nav (GPS - is what we call here) to get there. The hotel certainly has a charm of a Castle, floors have red carpet and the furniture, wooden wall panels, framed pictures on them, chandelier lightings do reflect the ambiance.... More

We visited Tulloch for two nights and had a very enjoyable stay. Our bedrooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and bright. The staff was helpful and flexible, and the food was very good. The highlight was the castle tour and ghost stories with Graham, the assistant manager, and a group of other hotel guests. Nearby Rogie Falls made a great hike... More

Other previous reviews had been poor but we'd hoped that things might have improved since then but sadly not. The building is amazing but that alone is not sufficient for the cost. The reception we received was very indifferent and the whole place is in need of some refurbishment. Although some of the staff were good and tried hard the... More

Apparently this hotel has been on the market for sometime. It is apparent to me that they have stopped spending any money on the property. My family and I visited from Miami, Florida. We stayed in a "family room." A picture is worth a thousand words. Look at the pictures I took. The hotel is filthy and the view from... More

Really very comfortable in a really atmospheric place that just oozes character and old fashioned charm! The food was excellent and the staff could not do enough to make you feel welcome even down to the impromptu guided history tour from Graham the Assistant Manager. All in all worth every penny and the breakfast by the way was first class,... More

The castle is small and fort like but inside is really atmospheric. The stairs, dining room, reception and rooms, it is all furnished in old style. We had a big room with four poster bed. There was no good view, however. The staff is amazing, everybody is very friendly and they even told us the ghost stories of the castle.... More
