Myself and my partner stayed for 2nights in this lovely hotel after a very busy and hectic festive season. We spent much time trying to find where we wanted to stay, maybe too much time, as we did not get round to booking until literally the day before, but chose this hotel because of the repeatedly good reports across many reviewing... Spent a weekend in this lovely, relaxing hotel. We were fortunate enough to have a room overlooking the golf course and sea complete with balcony. The bathroom was a little dated but all was warm and beautifully clean with plenty of fluffy towels, tea and coffee. They even provided a tea pot when asked. Dined in the restaurant - also... More

First of all we stayed at this hotel at a very attractive tariff from laterooms.com. It was standard double room. See their website for details. As a result it was fantastic value, so I thought I would add some extra cost onto the bill-hypothetically-and then review assuming that basis. It was a Sunday evening and the hotel was practically empty.... More

My parents where visiting from Argyll and stayed in this hotel. I drove down from St Andrews and wasn't sure what this hotel was like... The food is honestly one of the best I have ever tasted. We dined in the a la carte restaurant, I had the pate with oatcakes to start, and the belly pork for main course.... More

I'd just like to say what a pleasant experience we had at the Old Manor for lunch on New Years day. We were a party of 8 including children and the staff/chef could not have been more accommodating. The hotel offered a hot carvery in the Seaview restaurant. The views over the golf course out to the Forth were fantastic... More

Thank you for your kind comments, we had a lovely busy day on New Years Day (a great start to the year!) - we have received lots of positive feedback regarding the carvery, and intend making this a feature of Sunday Lunch in the Seaview Restaurant very soon - it wil be very much a "family" theme, and we hope... What a disappointing dining experience ... food was sub standard, at best, menu was restricted and offered little choice, hamburgers, of which 3 of us ordered, were horrible, overcooked and served on a hard bun, pasta was heavy and also overcooked, service was pathetically slow, despite best efforts, was told that wine was limited because delivery was late, so could... Thank you for your comments, and I can but offer you sincere apologies for your dinner experience last month. There were a number of kitchen "issues" that particular evening, now thankfully resolved, and since then we have delivered the quality of food and service which have brought us so many positive comments over a number of months. Whilst noting your... More

While visiting friends in Lundin Links recently we decided to pop into The Old Manor around 8.30pm for a few drinks. The hotel is beautifully furnished and the service was, initially, both pleasant and efficient. When we offered to pay for our first round of drinks it was suggested that we just open a "tab" and settle up before we... More

Thank you for your comments, I am glad you enjoyed the hotel facilities. However, sincere apologies for the payment ssaga, which is inexcusable. I can confirm however that we have now resolved this through extra training. Cheers. AWS. More

This hotel is fantastic, the service is tremendous helpful polite and nothing too much trouble at all. The hotel itself is situated on the firth of forth with wonderful views across the water to Edinbrugh and surrounding areas. St. Andrews is about a 20minute drive from the hotel itself. The small fishing villages that are all along the coast are... More

We arrived here for lunch to be told they had just stopped serving however, after the receptionist had a quick discussion with the chef, we were shown to the Coachman's Grill. The staff were hugely accommodating and the food tasted great. Couldn't find any fault with anything and would highly recommend it. More
