Stayed for business in August. Rooms are comfortable if a little dated for my tastes. However as I was away on business the cable tv was a godsend. loads of channels!! Food was excellent in the hotel one of the best fillet steaks I have ever had. Would def stay again more

We stayed for one night at the Strathburn as part of our tour around Aberdeenshire. On the outskirts of town. Lots of parking and excellent sized room. Only blot was the fire alarm going off at 5.40 am - no explanation about that! Comfy bed, good breakfast, friendly staff. more

A very warm welcome when you arrive that is carried on until you leave. Food is of a good standard and served with a smile. The rooms are clean and have a good supply of coffee & tea. Internet connection is available free off charge and is quick (large hotels should give the same service). I will certainly return here... more

Accomodation and food were excellent and the owners/staff were very friendly and welcoming. A bit more expensive than expected, but well worth it as we were made to feel we were more than just a room number. I now wouldn't even consider going to the cheaper alternative. Child friendly too! more
