On our Schotland castle tour we found at the end of a small lane this charming country house where we felt as actually having stepped back in time to my grand mothers place. It looked like a castle and we felt like prinse and princes. The bedroom with 36 m2 and fireplace was one of the largest we ever had;... More

Candy picked us up from station which was good of her and saved us on taxi fare. We took the taxi back and cost 15 pounds. When we arrived there was no heating on and we froze. The room did have several heaters but took ages to warm up. The dinning room fire was put on about 5pm so was... More

My husband and I stayed at Warthill in May 2012 and had a wonderful time. The home is conveniently located and very homey. The Leslie's were wonderful hosts and their daughter Rose took very good care of us. Our reservation was confirmed and ready for us when we arrived and Rose cooked a lovely chicken dinner for us. The place... More

We spent two wonderful nights in this stunning B&B. The setting is spectacular, the beds are comfortable (we lit the fire in our bedroom, which was lovely!) and the hosts are delightful. We will definitely be coming back!

Our visit to Warthill Castle was truly magical. We felt really privileged to be guests in a real castle that is also a home. We received a very warm welcome from our hostess Candida (and her wee dog), who kindly showed us around. Our room was lovely, large with a real fire, already set, and walnut half tester bed that... My wife, daughter and I had a wonderful 5 day break from London. It was the perfect base for our Castle exploration adventure. The house was a stunning period piece, faded in parts but this just added to the charm. Breakfast was delicious with the right amount of attention from Candy our hostess. We were invited to explore the grounds... More

Although we enjoyed our stay there we feel that for the money there was a lot to be desired. Shower was not even connected. The second hand soap was discusting. The evening meal did not live up to what we were led to believe. The satnav does not send you there. There should be more details on the website and... More

If you want to see shredded curtains hanging from the windows, paint peeling off the windows walls and ceilings, used soap in the sinks and bathrooms, doors that do not shut and/or lock, unclean bathroom furniture, Tesco bags lining the waste baskets then this is the place for you. If you want good quality accomodation at a reasonable price then... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night in late October. It was such an enchanting experience! I really loved how quiet it was at night...a major difference from city life! The hostess made us a beautiful 3 course dinner and delicious breakfast. Couldn't have asked for more. You will not regret this experience! :)

My family of four adults had a wonderful stay here for a week in July. The Leslies made us feel at home and we had no trouble coming and going by taxi. We had breakfast in the kitchen with the Leslie family.
