This hotel is excellent - we stayed in the Manor itself and the window in our room commanded an awesome view over the grounds which was delightful. The room itself was spacious and very well maintained to a high standard. We felt comfortable and spoilt in such lovely surroundings.

Please, please don't ever stay here in the annex rooms if its a heatwave! The heat in the corridor is like walking across the Sahara! 3 flights of stairs to my room. The windows will not open more than a couple of inches and the have non-adjustable security locks fitted. The room heat is unbearable. No a/c. No room safes.... More

My first time in Europe, and we stayed at this hotel. Wonderful! It has that European character that I was expecting. The staff was friendly and attentive. The location was magnificent with breathtaking views of the green country side. The facilities were clean and modern, with that touch of old character. I rented a car, so it was easy to... More

Myself and boyfriend came here for a long weekend away for our anniversary. It was a real treat and something I had been looking forward to for a long time. I will start with all the possitivies as there is alot of them: When we arrived we had been upgraded to the main house and our room was simply stunning.... More

The Hotel has great character & amazing grounds. The room had spectacular views & was very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely, with again amazing views from the dining area. The only downside would be that it is a good 15-20 minute drive from Bath city centre & cost around £15-£20 to & from in a taxi.

Although the settings are beautiful and the facilities adequate, the service and amount of food made the weekend a frustrating experience. On average we waited for thirty minutes for each course of a meal or cup of coffee we asked for. Also the breakfast room when we entered was full of half empty, near empty or empty dishes to the... A lovely manor hotel set in stunning grounds. Our room was clean and appealing. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Full English breakfast was delicious. Easy drive into Bath for shopping and site seeing. The outdoor pool was relaxing and enjoyable in the hot weather. We booked through lastminute.com and it was very good value for money. The hotel and... More

We had booked a short break through a third party supplier, unfortunately our booking never got to the hotel. The receptionist (who I understand was new) looked a little puzzled but only said that she would have to speak to the manager in the meantime would we like to wait in the lounge which we did and it was well... Stunning setting. Reception staff excellent very accommodating. We asked for our garden room to be changed to one with terrace and it was no problem . All staff very polite and welcoming. We found the evening meal a bit overpriced although good. Good location for visiting bath city centre we used the park & ride about ten minute drive away.

As a family we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The hotel surroundings were tranquil and restorative. Our grandchildren loved the little outdoor swimming pool. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We did find getting to the hotel a little difficult but getting around Bath seemed a bit frustrating. On the whole though a beautiful city and a very pleasant stay.
