We stayed at this hotel for just one night and looked forward to it as we had stayed at several hotels from The Hotel Selection or Puma Hotels as they were once known.. The main Hotel building is lovely and we had breakfast and Dinner there, We were given a window table overlooking White Hoarse Hill which was lovely but... More

I booked this through a 3rd party website and got the last remaining room. It was for our 20th Wedding Anniversary and I wanted something out of the way but within easy reach of Bath and also one with Health facilities. I read some reviews on Trip Advisor and must admit got a bit worried with some of the negative... More

we enjoyed our short stay and thought the rooms were nice and spacious with large balcony area and the view combined to make a very satisfied experience. Staff were very friendly also, will use this hotel again.

Positive: Beatiful house and garden, nice pool, rabbits jumping around, good service, good value for money, romantic. Short taxi-ride to Bath. Negative: We felt that It lacks "the little extra" that a manor should have. It was cosy to sit outside in the garden at evenings, but they had no carpets, no candles or nothing else that made you want... More

What a beautiful location. 3 miles from bath in stunning grounds. We had a room on the top floor of the main house which is very grand in style, but needs a good clean. Our room was fine for a two night stay, but was not what we were used too as we often stay in four star hotels. There... More

We booked a two night stay through secret escapes. The website showed a beautiful period building, which we thought we were staying in! Before you get to the hotel you drive up a poorly signed estate road with next to no lighting or passing places for cars. When we booked in we found that we were staying in a characterless... More

We had an excellent two night stay at the Combe Grove Manor. The staff could not have been more accomodating and friendly. The views from the hotel are stunning, a beautiful place to take in the country side, also very close to Bath city (5 mins in the car). We had rooms in the main hotel which were very comfortable.... We had booked for two nights, based on website and reviews, through Secret Escapes. The views are stunning and the main hotel building has both character and history. The potentially beautiful approach from the road to the hotel is compromised by the ugliness of some buildings that we passed en route and the rather incongruous signage that is used (which... More

The postcode for this hotel leads you to the side entrance which is hard to find, signage is only visible if you are driving up the hill during the day. At night you will need to keep your eyes peeled as this can be easily missed due to no adequate lighting. On a plus note, there is lots of parking... More

We stayed for our wedding at the end of July and paid to stay in the Manor Suite. The room was beautiful and immaculate. The views were stunning and the convenience of getting to Bath was great too. The staff needed more training as the service just wasn't what you what would expect for a 4 star hotel. Our button... More
