Single night's stay at The Bear Inn. Stayed in the Brewhouse annexe 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Really comfy beds and nice and clean. Fantastic breakfast! And all worked out at just over £20 per person....such great value. If you're ever in Bridgnorth you won't find a warmer welcome or better value!

Everything about the Bear inn is above the expected standard . The room was clean and the beds are much better than the norm. A lot of attention to detail. Excellent breakfast choice. I always go low carb and this was dealt with easily. The ensuite had a good shower, and no mould or flaking paper! The one negative is... More

Stayed one night for a friend's wedding and we're very pleased. Clean and light room, furniture and bed linen looked and felt very fresh and new which was lovely. Our room overlooked the street and wasn't noisy at all apart from one motorbike in the morning. Only downside was that we couldn't get the hot water to work in the... More

Thank you for your kind review. We pride ourselves on providing clean and comfortable accommodation at a great price. I do apologise for your difficulty with the hot water in the bathroom. The shower is an electric one and there is a pull switch next to the cubicle. I will make sure that in future a notice will be displayed.... More

Good Inn with 5 rooms and the room we were given had a very comfortable bed although the room is a bit basic for the money you can not complain as its not a 5star hotel so I didn't expect it. The room was clean and fresh and although our room was on the front on the main street with... More

Stayed here for two nights to celebrate my 70th birthday and was treated more like a member of the family than a hotel guest. The Bear is clean and comfortable and absolutely central in an attractive, historic small town, with the Severn Valley Railway about ten minutes walk away. A vast car park immediately behind the hotel cost me just... More

Walked into the bar to enquire if the room was still available and was greeted by the landlord and landlady, who obviously take pride and love their business as we was made to feel welcomed straight away.Room was really comfortable was clean and smelled of fresh linen bright and... Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in a lovely quirky room which had been the brewery. Had it's own private garden area which we enjoyed in the sunshine. Very clean. Good breakfast. Excellent location at the end of the main street. Would definitely stay again

Room was small but adequate and clean. The only real issue was there was only one tea bag and no milk which was rather disappointing. Breakfast was superb, just what was required after a night sampling some of the towns fine ales. Would recommend the hotel for a cheap stay over in bostin Bridgnorth!

I don't normally write reviews but reading some of these I felt they were unfair. We stayed in the room at the end of the garden which was lovely. It was clean and had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The shower could probably do with a new head as was not great but lovely and warm. The... More
