The lunch was lovely and nothing was too much bother.Kim and Phil make you feel at home and the staff are very polite. We sat outside where there is plenty to do for children ( sandpit, swings and slide,trampoline,... More

Yes, I am back at The Bear again and the garden is even more beautiful. Guests were taking photos and videos of it. There is a lovely new menu and the food is excellent! One of my favourites is the Ploughman's Platter with warm homemade bread. Disappointed to see the suspicious review from miss Lewis of Telford. She certainly didn't... More

We booked the apartment (self catering so no breakfast included) at the back of the pub which is a converted brewery complete with the copper/vat still in place. We even had our own small garden area. I am unsure if this accn is actually featured on their website but it comes up on Booking.com. The room had been so beautifully... More

First time visit to Bridgnorth, wife and I stayed in the Old Brewery Cottage at the Bear Inn. Very comfortable, very nice place to stay would have no hesitation in recommending this place. We had a nice breakfast in the restaurant which opens out to a beer garden. Very relaxed atmosphere very enjoyable all round.

Stayed here for one night. We had brewery room (cottage) which I would definately recommend. Lovely little garden attached where we enjoyed a nice drink. The room was very spacious, the decor and attention to detail (love the cushions) made it extremely homely. Bed was so comfortable too, a struggle to get out in the morning, lovely nights sleep on... Stayed one night, Fri 25th July 2014. We had originally booked the last room available according to booking.com: twin with shared bathroom on second floor. On arrival we were told there had been a cancellation and we were offered an upgrade to an en-suite double on the first floor. Gratefully accepted and pleasantly surprised when our offer to pay for... More
