I met up with some friends for lunch here during the summer break. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very polite. I will definitely be going again soon. The pub garden was brilliant and there were activities to keep the children entertained while us adults enjoyed lovely home cooked food. I will be recommending The Bear Inn to my friends.

Nice room & great location. Was surprised to find was not open when we arrivedat 11.30, and that the owners left site at about 6pm and were not on site from 11.30 pmonwards. So can't comment on the hosts as didn't see them, so think rather unfriendly. Noisy revellers passing by after 1am didn't help the sleep, In the morning... More

Hi Thank you for your review but what a shame you have made a judgement that we are unfriendly and yet you say you haven't met us! You would have met us as we start work at about 7.30 am and we continue throughout the day until we have had no customers for a considerable amount of time. We were... More

Our room was some sort of conversion from a garage/stable/storehouse crammed full of old shabby furniture and ornaments and the bed was uncomfortable too. I felt like the elderly parents had been moved out for the night so that we could have their room. We were led through the pub via the gardens to our room in the afternoon but... More

You stayed in The Original Brewery which is full of character which obviously you are not! It is decorated very tastefully, in our and the opinion of others! More

I stayed in a twin room here mid July, mid-week, on arrival we enjoyed a drink in the beer garden which has reasonable cover in case of showers. The room was clean and we had everything we needed, plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits & water. The only gripe about the room was the bathroom was a bit small, when stood... More

Stayed here for 1 night and having not been in this Bridgnorth area before we didn't really know what to expect - it was only a stop over to break up the journey back to holyhead after a two week European tour! We arrived late in the evening to the most comfortable room of our trip, beautifully decorated and cosy.... More

This is great little place, very convenient for High Town. It has lots of charm and character, with a good atmosphere in the bar, which serves good ales. The garden is pretty too. We did not eat so cannot comment on the food, but the restaurant did look nice. Unfortunately out room, No 7, did not quite come up to... More

My 4 girls and myself met up with friends for lunch at The Bear. Its a lovely, friendly, family run pub. The lunch was lovely and nothing was too much bother.Kim and Phil make you feel at home and the staff are very polite.
