My husband & I had our wedding reception in the Coppice Suite. Nina Barton was our wedding organiser & was an absolute godsend. She helped us from beginning to end with every little detail. The hotel is beautiful both inside & out! It's thatched roof adds an air of the country cottage whilst it's modern interior is beautifully presented. We... More

We booked 2 rooms here several months in advance for a local family party. The night before we received an email (addressed to wrong name) stating that due to maintenance issues both rooms had to be cancelled. No explanation other than that was given, no mention of refund of deposit. regardless of any of this the least I would have... More

Potters Heron is very pretty from the outside, but as a hotel the rooms are tired. The bathrooms don't appear to have any changes since first built. My DIY bathroom at home is in better condition. The staff are keen, but I think they need to spend some money in coming out of the 1970s. Oh, I wasn't impressed with... More

We stayed at the Potters Heron to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From booking to leaving we were looked after and made to feel special. The room was gorgeous, the bed was the most comfortable we've ever stayed in and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Every detail was taken care of and our special occasion was made even more... More

Large and reasonably modern room with comfortable bed, tea/coffee making, toiletries, hair-dryer etc. Clean and modern bathroom. I had a room on the ground floor and there was only a heavy blackout curtain, no net curtain so, if I didn't have the curtain closed, I was slightly concerned about people on the nearby road being able to look in and... Facilities at the Potters Heron are decent, we had lots of rubbish coming out of the bath taps and had to give up on using the bathroom but the room itself was Ok and the food was very nice. The day we visited was very rainy and the gutters all led to a single random pipe high above the ground... More

We stayed at The Potters Heron on the way to somewhere else. We received a really warm welcome. The rooms are nice and big but the bathroom do need some modernisation- we also were able to hear when a nearby room turned their tap on. It did disturb my sleep when it happened during the night. There is very little... More

We had a lovely meal in the restaurant which was top class highly recommend. The bedroom was big and roomy but the bathroom could... More

I booked the hotel as an early Valentines for my husband & I. Room was a reasonable price. We stayed on the first floor. Room was nicely decorated & bed was massive. Bathroom quite tired & dated. There was a massive gap under the door as well & the cupboard slightly damaged. The balcony was a nice touch but we... More

I stayed here whilst on business really liked the place - the staff were all very attentive and meals tasty and good value for money. The dinner menu offered a good variety of food which was served quickly and politely. The only issue I had was a poor mobile phone & Mi-Fi reception which was inconvenient as I needed to... More
