The location of Casa da Eira couldn't be better, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and nature at its best. We opted for one of the apartments with a kitchen so that we could do our own cooking, and the kitchen was well stocked and tastefully decorated. We had most of our meals in the picnic area, surrounded by fruit and nut... More

This is a place that is special in every sense lodging should. The owners, Susanne and Adolpho, are doing a thing they are just naturals at. They are true hosts, who provide a retreat like no other. My visit to A Casa Da Eira, a "Casa Rural" was for both business and leisure as I was there working as a... More

all the other reviews have it spot on. The place is wonderful with excellent views and a wonderful sense of stillness. The hosts, Adolfo and Suzanne, were very attentive but never intrusive and helped us to make the most of our time here with great suggestions and useful maps. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to... More

A 'get away from it all' place up in the mountains surrounded by beautiful scenery. Meals were set at a big refectory table and everyone was friendly. Our host, Adolfo, would come and join us and make suggestions for trips, answer our questions etc If our Spanish let us down, we could ask Susanne who spoke excellent English. We are... More

We enjoyed to stay in an old farm adapted to modern confort, quiet garden and beautiful village surroundings! Excellent galicien food prepared by Adolfo and Suzanna with vegetables and fruits from their garden: breakfast and dinner. As we liked to explore the area by walking this was the place to be: we received a lot of information and even the... More

We rented the apartment in Casa da Eira for 3 nights in July. In countryside that hasn't changed in a lot of years the apartment had every comfort and modernisation we required. It is truly a beautiful place to stay. Suzanne and Adolfo are wonderful hosts, welcoming us warmly. Unfortunately we don't speak spanish so couldn't communicate with Adolfo other... More

This is one of the top places we've ever visited, not because it was luxurious or pampering, but because it is special in its own way, and there are so many fascinating possibilities in this remote, unique area. Adolfo and Susan are superb hosts who manage their small "Casa Rural" with great care. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet.... More

We travelled to Galicia in August 2009, staying in an apartment trade in Coruna. To get out of the city and see the countryside, we found Casa da Eira via Trip Advisor, and are happy to second/third the positive comments made by others. Comfy rooms, gracious hosts, a very nice meal with local wine and spirits, plums right off the... More

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Susanne and Adolfo in the most relaxed environment. Our aim was to enjoy a peaceful and relaxed holiday whilst also experiencing the local countryside and atmosphere. We must say every part of the 3 1/2 week stay in the apartment was a memorable experience. Although not being... More

Susanne & Adolfo were excellent hosts in this surprisingly charming & comfortable B&B. It was a nice break from the usual city accomodation we have stayed previous nights and the home-cooked dinner was by far the best we've had in our 3 week stay in Spain, which was shared with good dinner-table conversation with other guests. We would have been... More
