We stayed here in October, then changed plans on our trip and returned in November for a few days. This is a delightful spot, welcoming folks for centuries. Our standard room was more than adequate, the views from the windows (six in the room) terrific, the food average plus, the staff helpful and mostly very gracious.

Great place views to die for but what an ambivalent unwelcoming service with not a smile in the place. Food was tepid a feature of several paradors. Shame they didn't do the place justice it deserves.

Words cannot describe the natural beauty of the remote surroundings (Canyon de Sil) and of this remarkable parador. Lovely location above the Sell river but Internet would not work, not hot water due to boiler failure and not many people. Staff didn't offer to help with bags or show us to room. Good meal in main restaurant with friendly staff but that contrasted with the reception staff who seemed very tired.

We enjoyed our stay in this place. The room was very nice, quiet and clean. Breakfast was of a very high quality and good variety! The restaurant is great - I never tastes better wild pig filet! Stuff is very kind, helps you with any question. SPA is extra charge but it's worthy to do it!
