Stayed here as part of our summer holidays and enjoyed it. Lovely rural setting yet 2 mins by car to Torroella de Montgri and a great base for exploring Costa Brava. Good facilities - pool, outdoor bar & seating, restaurant. External areas are very well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had one of the garden rooms/pods and... More

We have had a wonderful stay in this charming hotel and its nice garden. A great experience in the middle of the Pals Emporda. Staff very professional and helpful. Great breakfast, only the freshly squeezed orange juice was missing. Have not tried the restaurant which seems to be another asset of this recently built hotel. We can only recommend this... More

We stayed at the Moli del Mig as part of our bike tour with Bike Spain. We stayed 4 nights and did loop trips from there. Our room was very nice, bed very comfortable after a long day riding! It was extremely quiet and a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant had an awesome variety choices for dinner, the food was good,... More

Poor in service, rooms are comfortable but kind of impersonal, the pool is also used by the paddle renters which makes it really noisy. Short of waiters, and the cleaning is average. Too expensive for what they offer. The restaurant is also not cosy. Would have expected more from the site pictures. Dommage!

If you are looking to escape the crazy hustle and bustle of working life, slow down the pace of things, enjoy nature peace and tranquility, combine this with great service, great accommodation, and great food, all at a great cost. Moli del Mig is the place to go to. Ideally located within striking distance of Barcelona,(1 hr 45 min drive)... More

Very welcoming reception. Spacious room with quality furnishings. A pity that the ceiling decoration/lights had not been finished, but this did not spoil our stay. It was impossible to reduce the room temperature using the air-conditioning. Restaurant opens for dinner at 8.30 rather than 8.00 as notified. Menu is limited and food was well presented and good, but not exceptional.... More

Our visit at Moli del Mig was actually a surprise gift for my girlfriend. We left Barcelona on our motorbike and while on the way I told her we would find some random hotel on the road. Half way there it started pouring rain like crazy and by the time we got at Moli del Mig we were 100% soaked... More

We have visited the Moli 3 times now, and every time the stay has been excellent. Again this time we enjoyed the hotel.....a gem! However, where we see most restaurants in Spain improving, we cannot see this with Moli. The menu in the restaurant hasn't seen much change since we came the first time. And where we drank the last... More

Stayed at Moli del Mig as part of a Catalonia cycling tour. The hotel is far away from everything. Since hotel resto is very expensive, we went into town to have dinner and it is quite a walk, parts of it along a dirt road. Rooms are ulta modern and clean. Since it is not convenient to get to a... One of the reasons we pay more money for a 4-star hotel is to be treated nicely as guests. In our opinion, the people working at the hotel were pretentious and unwelcoming, especially compared the Spanish people in general, who we found to be extremely friendly, gracious and helpful. Like another reviewer wrote, there was also a group event going... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Restaurant Molí del Mig is located in Baix Empordà (Costa Brava) in an agricultural zone of fields of cereals, fruit trees, gardens and with the characteristic rows of cypresses and dominated by the impressive presence of the Massís del Montgrí with his Medieval castle. It is placed to 6 Kilometres of the beach of La Gola, ahead the Islands Medes and to 1 Kilometre of Torroella de Montgrí's historical centre. One of the peculiarities of the great beauty with which we are charmed with l'Empordà are his contrasts. The Hotel Molí del Mig also wants to form part of this beauty. An older mill from The XVth century with a careful rehabilitation presumes of new facilities of the most modern design. A special worry by the environment and the respect into the landscape is translated in an integrated architecture integrated in a natural environment and the uses of technologies of saving energy.Seven hectares of gardens and green spaces with fruit trees and aromatic grasses. Our principal garden has been designed to receive celebrations, appetizers and cocktails outdoors. The terrace in the garden, with service of bar, is the ideal place for an informal food to the midday in our barbecue or to relax to the late afternoon enjoying the sights and the nature that wraps us.The swimming pool is the ideal complement for the days of heat, exterior swimming pool of 23 m and exterior infantile swimming pool that the delights of the smallest will do. For them we have also the infantile zone of games in the garden where they will be able to find swings, desks of football, network of volleyball, padel yards...
