We stayed in Trasierra a couple of years ago and so enjoyed our few days there that we decided to use it as the wind-down at the start of our holiday this year. Trasierra is a wonderfully comfortable and welcoming place, offering lovely accommodation, superb dining and just as much or as little interaction as you choose. Unlike a hotel... More

Having travelled the world and stayed in some stunning hotels I did not know what to expect as we approached Trasierra across the stunning countryside. After a heavy week of travel and business I was wound up like a clock spring... until about 10 minutes after I arrived in this paradise. Trasierra is a home, and Charlotte and her family... More

Somewhere between Sevilla and Cordoba in the country of the black pigs, next to an authentic village, we were welcomed in an hacienda which must be fabulous and high class in season but which had an additional peculiar "out of time" touch off season when we stayed alone for a cold New Years eve. By the deco, it could as... More

Trasierra, the home of Gioconda Scott's TV series, Paradise kitchen, is a beautiful and relaxing holiday destination. Charlotte Scott and her staff are all very kind and attentive and the setting of the farm is perfect The food is outstanding

I hate to reveal the secret but I hate for people not to know. If you love the swankiest hotel, with an abundance of service and over the top amenities .... then stay away. If you want the most tranquil and restful stay of a lifetime, then you this IS the place. Did I mention....AND the best food???? It is... More

A friend and I visited Trasierra in May 2013. We had mixed weather - and it was completely enjoyable even without the sun. Daily yoga, beautiful walks, peace and quiet. Very friendly staff. 18 rooms - beautifully and individually furnished. You can stay here and be as sociable or unsociable as you please - I have never stayed at such... More

Visiting in January, we found the heating did not work in our bedroom and although there are heaters placed strategically everywhere, it is a struggle to get the place warm. The food was good, though and the family very friendly and interesting. I am sure in summer it would be wonderful if you like somewhere with lots of character.

We stayed at Trasierra this year and found it a delightful place. Wonderfully relaxing and an easy place to simply lose yourself in the warmth, food, surroundings. The staff are of the highest calibre and although much is made of the family I found the staff to be the most excellent and sweet in their dealings with us at all... More

trasierra is a fantasy. from the moment of arrival, the staff and surroundings make a visit unforgettable. the decor is utterly gorgeous, and at the same time utterly comfortable. the bedding is sumptuous, the food uber-local and divine.understand that this is not a marriott/hilton experience. it's as though you've been invited to the country estate of lord and lady some-one-or-other.... Spent three days at Trasierra and both my husband and I wanted to move in. Glorious! We had the room named "Nueva" - an upper corner w/ a porch overlooking red tile roofs in one direction and towards the Moorish cathedral tower in the other. Impeccable furnishings, luxurious touches - the robes, the water bottle cozies, the tissues tied in... More
