The atmosphere and décor is definitely that of a slightly old-fashioned spa hotel and unless you are there for the spa, you are unlikely to want more than a few days here. It is quite well positioned for exploring Tuscany - with no car, we managed to visit Pisa, Siena and Viareggio very easily by train. The station is a... More

Have just returned from a week long stay at this amazing hotel. My husband and I stayed in suite 212 and it was the most wonderful suite- with a beautiful bedroom area with a spacious sitting room on a mezzanine above. The staff were fabulous- so polite and helpful. We ate in the hotel restaurant several times and the meals... More

If you have the budget and are in the mood to splurge this is where to do it! The pools, the treatments, the food, nothing lacking and everything wonderful and beautiful. I unfortunately got a flu, was able to see the Spa doctor and the hotel sent out for the medicines that were delivered to my room. That is certainly... More

This was only our second time staying at this hotel yet we were greeted like old friends, which was absolutely lovely. The hotel is wonderful and the staff could not be nicer, particularly Debora on reception, and Mirko in the in restaurant, they simply cannot do enough for you. We were fortunate enough to be ungraded to a suite and... More

I was in total bliss being in this heavenly palace hotel/spa.....the service is wonderful...the Italians, as always, were warm and super loving....the food was really delicious.....the outside deck was sublime...with doves cooing, beautiful Tuscan cypress and other trees, breezes, flowers and privacy.....easy to get around...we were allowed to go to the spa for a massage and then eat lunch in... The hotel is really beautiful and very well-maintained - it is spotlessly clean. We were initially allocated a room with internal windows onto a corridor, which we found a little odd, however we were moved without a problem to another room with a nice view! The staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful. The spa facilities are excellent. The hotel... More

The lobby, the room, the view, the swimming-pool and most of all the extreme kindness of the staff made our stay very enjoyable. We will recommend this great place to our friends for sure. By the way, my wife had a very good spa treatment.

An elegant hotel in a fascinating historical building -- it was a favorite retreat of the Grand Duke of Tuscany in the eighteenth century and of the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley and his wife, the novelist Mary Shelley, in the nineteenth century. The hotel is full of wonderful architectural details like frescoed ceilings, polished marble and crushed stone floors inlaid... More

Beautiful place, relaxing SPA, elegance and courtesy. This is my second visit with my girlfriend and we stay in a marvellous suite. I really recommend the inner restaurant, the personnel is very very kind, and would offer to customers an unforgettable experience of Tuscany food and tastes.

An elegant 5-star resort affiliated with "The Leading Small Hotels of the World," prestigious brand of the luxury hotellerie, completed by a large thermal Spa, with the brand "Leading Spa." Set amid the gentle hills of Tuscany and kissed by the scented winds of the Mediterranean sea, Bagni di Pisa Palace is a magnificent and sumptuous building of great historical value. Now lovingly restored to its original splendor, it was once owned by the Grand Duke of Tuscany and chosen by the European aristocracy as a place to spend their summer holidays. Dating back to the 18th century, the building is set in a beautiful park of olive trees and combines classical architecture with modern facilities. Accommodation ranges from well-designed comfort to elegant and spacious suites, which have separate living rooms, marble baths and original 18th-century frescoes. Groups visiting this luxurious hotel have access to modern meeting facilities, to a refined spa and thermal centre, as well as plenty of outdoor leisure activities in the natural surroundings. ... more   less
