From the moment we arrived, and were shown our beautiful room, we knew this was going to be an amazing place. The room - a deluxe with marble bathroom - was beautiful. The thermal baths were amazing, we used them every day. You have to wear a hat but they provide a very nice hat. There were some silly people... More

Not the relaxing, calm weekend we were looking for, our room quite dated and lacking in amenities and although we had suite it felt small and the A/C doesn't work till May !! . all pools crowded with children (maybe an adult only would be a good idea), no drinks service around the outside pool until late May and was... I was very unimpressed with my stay at the Bagni di Pisa. It was certainly very grand from the outside but the room we were given, which apparently was an upgrade, was basic and not very comfortable. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant on our first night and were extremely disappointed with the quality. During the rest of our... More

I spent just one night at the hotel but it has been enough to find out how comfortable is it. the staff were kind and always at disposal. I would like to outline the food quality and above all the spa area was excellent.. We recommend all going for a stay...it is suitable for families, elder people and young couple... More

Am a Leading Hotels member... am supposed to get a room upgrade when space available. Had 4 rooms... none upgraded. My suite was large, very nice, and HOT like a sauna.. 25 degrees cent. Was explained that 24 and 25 is a nice temperature. Said they would try to fix to lower it... nothing happened.. slept, or tried to, with... More

I have now stayed here twice, once in July 2014 and then again this month. The reason I returned was I couldn't quite believe how good it was first time round so tried again. This place will not suit everyone, it is a converted Palazzo and unique in design. I loved the classy antique look but it's not overly formal... More

Stayed recently in September for four nights. There's a sign outside the entrance to the hotel proclaiming it to be 'one of the worlds great hotels' - bold or what? Well in my opinion this is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Fabulous spa facilities, outdoor pool, numerous open seating areas to relax in, a beautiful courtyard at the... More

Not the best hotel to be honest. It's first and foremost a spa hotel and those facilities, the majority of which are open to residents are very nice. My partner had a massage and rated it adequate. We were both annoyed that smoking was allowed by the poolside - this is meant to be a health hotel, after all! The... More

I stayed here for a 6 day spa break in early September. It's a beautiful classical building and my deluxe room (with view on village/local road) had beautiful high frescoed ceilings. Very clean and tasteful decor, although the furnishings could use an update. Reception, by a polite trainee, wasn't exceptionally welcoming but ok. Overall the service was mixed, mostly polite...
