As a general rule, we always stay at 5 star or 4+ star hotels. This was a total stab in the dark based upon reading trip advisor and we were not disappointed. Firstly you have to realise that this is a restaurant with rooms. The rooms are very pleasant and the beds are extremely comfortable. We stayed in the green... More

Locanda sant'Agata offers good value for money: a comfortable room with nice amenities near Pisa and very convenient as it is right on the road that leads to Lucca and the autostrada. They also have a dining room that offers a full breakfast that is included in the price of the room. Well worth the price. It is not a... More

My wife stayed here for two nights during a 'road trip' of Italy and France in August 13. The setting is stunning, rural views of the mountains, but close enough to Pisa and Luca. When we arrived the welcome was warm and our cases were taken to our room on the first floor. The room was well equipped and and... More

I booked here only because of the excellent ratings, for which few places get. I was not disappointed , the staff are all family and treat you as a visitor to their home. Rooms were clean and functional, and nothing is dated or old. The food in the restaurant was superb, and we eat there every night. The service overall... More

My Mom and I spent two nights here (one on our way to Orvieto, and one on our way back). It was our first trip to Italy and we were a little nervous about the experience, especially because we were arriving at 10pm into a country whose language we don't speak. We asked Luca and family for a ride from... More

We stayed in the granary with our two kids. The room was very big and comfortable for the four of us. Very friendly people, great restaurant and delicious breakfast. The setting is beautiful and very convenient to visit Pisa and Lucca and the beaches. We even had dinner outside our room whilst the kids were in bed! That was just... More

The hotel was delightful to stay at. We stayed for one night prior to our flight home from Pisa airport. It is a convenient location to Pisa and yet feels like it is in the middle of the Tuscan countryside. The rooms were a little compact however they were modern and had the benefit of air conditioning. The service was... More

I stayed here with a friend at the end of july. We picked it for a combination of price (110eur/night) and proximity to the airport. Photos were very good but I wasn't sure what I would find. Well, it definitely lives up to the photos: an old farmstead entirely re-done with modern rooms/bathrooms. It looks quite a recent job so... More

A service level beyond reasonable :-) We will definitely return and recommend everyone to visit this lovely oasis just outside Pisa. There is a lovely garden and a lounge outside with a beautiful view over mountains where we spend some great time. The place is also perfect for visiting Lucca or Pisa. …and the breakfast is great :)

With our GPS, my wife and I'd nearly given up hope of finding the B&B when Luca the owner and chef had kindly led us by his scooter to this gem of a place. Set on an open 'prairie-like' farmland with the mountain as the backdrop, the place is actually easy to find! Close proximity to the Leaning Tower of... More
