Our family stayed at this charming hotel because we wanted our kids to get a sense of the country side while visiting Italy. The hotel was clean and well-kept with very comfortable beds. There is a lovely swimming pool and tennis courts. The hotel is close to many Tuscan towns and villages making day trips very easy. This is a... More

Don't know why "miawallace30" complained about rooms and mosquitoes: staying in the country usually is more exposed to the outdoors/animals. Breakfast room was separate from villas, but very short walk away. Was a swimming pool near breakfast area, though there was a different WiFi for the indoors and outdoors. There is also a wine tasting every once in a while... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Villa San Lucchese. The hotel is very well kept and the outdoor spaces are beautiful. We loved that it is a family run business and this was felt in very aspect of our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is relatively close to many beautiful Tuscan towns, although we felt... More

Such a beautiful quaint hotel situated it seems right near or at the top of a hill right next to a gorgeous old Basilica. When visiting Italy, well at least this part. I would advise not to stay in chain hotels because you are seriously missing out. Take a chance or be spontaneous. Don't just stick to what you know,... More

This was our second stay at Villa San Lucchese. We loved it so much the first time that there was no question we would stay here again when we returned to Tuscany. The Ninci family and staff are very warm and welcoming. The rooms are large and beautiful. The food was excellent and the gardens and grounds are beautiful and... More

We have been visiting this family-run hotel for over 20 years, and still enjoy it as much as we have always done. Excellent facilities and food, but foremost the warmth of the welcome from all of the staff. NOTHING is EVER too much trouble for ANYONE. A wonderful, wonderful experience, whether you want to crash out by the pool, or... More

The location and scenario around the hotel already makes it a good option to explore the Toscana villages. Staying in Poggibonsi was a good decision due to the facility to reach the famous villages of the region and to have a little taste of Toscana tranquility.. Really friendly staff, always ready to help and give information about the region. The... More

We had a fantastic few nights in this hotel. They couldn't have been more accommodating; on arrival they gave us trip recommendations and offered to book us in to a wine-tasting at the hotel. We took them up on this offer, and had a marvellous wine-tasting experience with the owner of the hotel, who couldn't have been nicer; he gave... More

Had an excellent 6 nights here, in August 2014. The food was excellent - which was fortunate as the local town Poggibonsi was a little disappointing. Fabulous views from outside dining terrace which was sheltered from any breeze, even at night. So "al fresco" dining later into the evening was a treat. Nice secluded pool and very good friendly service... More

We spent 5 days in the hotel: the location is perfect to do day trips to any area of Tuscany or Chianti - we drove our own car but there are plenty of options to rent car/bike/scooter. The hotel is beautiful, clean, quiet and very comfy with a pretty garden with pools. The staff is lovely, they cheer you up... More

Good morning, thanks a lot for your beautiful words. We love your words about your stay and Lucia is happy that you've appreciated her omelettes in the morning. Our restaurant always offers the best of tuscan specialities. You can vote them on Tripadvisor on their restaurant page. We hope to see you again I Tre Lorenzo More
