Our family of six stayed 3 nights at the very charming Villa San Lucchese. Our rooms were lovely; the dining area, the pool, and the gardens were delightful. We were very pleased with our room, which had a beautiful view of the gardens, while other family members had rooms that overlooked the gorgeous Italian countryside. Bathrooms were modern - ours... The villa is a popular get a way for Tuscan travelers. We were welcomed with beverages and snacks sitting outside in the garden. The staff is very cordial in all areas of the hotel. Family owned and operated there is a beautiful pool area with a snack for purchase area. My solo room was typical Italian decor; kind of dated... More

The (family)room was excellent, large room with a very lovely view on the Tuscany country. Breakfast and diner were very good and all the personel was very kind with a very good service. The hotel has a very good location to start the different trips to discover the beautiful Tuscany.

This is really a stylish hotel. The rooms are elegant and some bathrooms small. However, the restaurant is excellent with a beautiful view. The staff is courteous and helpful. It is situated in a central positiin from which Siena, S. Giminiano and other smaller places can be seen. The garden is well kept so is the pool.

We arrived Villa San Lucchese late in the afternoon, hungry. The kitchen was closed but that wasnt any problem! A delicious salat and a great bottle of white wine was served us in the garden after check in - in no time! We spend the rest of the afternoon by the pool, which was quiet and very relaxing. Dinner on... More

Our family stayed at this charming hotel because we wanted our kids to get a sense of the country side while visiting Italy. The hotel was clean and well-kept with very comfortable beds. There is a lovely swimming pool and tennis courts. The hotel is close to many Tuscan towns and villages making day trips very easy. This is a... More

Don't know why "miawallace30" complained about rooms and mosquitoes: staying in the country usually is more exposed to the outdoors/animals. Breakfast room was separate from villas, but very short walk away. Was a swimming pool near breakfast area, though there was a different WiFi for the indoors and outdoors. There is also a wine tasting every once in a while... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Villa San Lucchese. The hotel is very well kept and the outdoor spaces are beautiful. We loved that it is a family run business and this was felt in very aspect of our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is relatively close to many beautiful Tuscan towns, although we felt... More

Such a beautiful quaint hotel situated it seems right near or at the top of a hill right next to a gorgeous old Basilica. When visiting Italy, well at least this part. I would advise not to stay in chain hotels because you are seriously missing out. Take a chance or be spontaneous. Don't just stick to what you know,... More
