This hotel is an older style hotel on the main road of Pitigliano. The room was good sized, as was the bathroom. The bathroom had been updated reasonably recently, and the shower had many buttons including options for a sauna. Some people have said they did not like the woven towels, but we found them quite absorbent and quick to... More

We stayed one night here on a trip across Italy. One night was enough. It is in a good location right next to the old town area. The staff were reasonably helpful although they did seem a bit suspicious of everything that was going on around them. The room was small as was the bathroom and to dry yourself after... More

We spent the month of June traveling around Italy with another couple, and staying in many B&B's and hotels; a joyous experience in every respect. PItigliano is a fascinating town with a haunting history and intriguing atmosphere; well worth a visit. This hotel, however, is another story. We had reserved Albergo Guastini, initially intending to stay 2 nights and explore... More

Stayed here with my wife, sister and husband. Albergo Guastino is an old style hotel located near the entrance to Pitigliano's old town-in fact, it is walking distance away. Its location is the best feature of the hotel. We had a room with a wonderful view of the old town particularly at night. However, the room itself was quite basic,... More

We have been there off season. Located at the center of the town, right by the old city. The parking is near the hotel (70 m). The staff was nice, the breakfast was good. Wifi in the room. We didn't like the "towels" in the bathroom (a piece of hard fabric).

A visit to Pitigliano is a very worthwhile experience and staying a night or two in the old part of town only makes it so much more worthwhile. To experience this one has to make do with the local accommodation on offer and so our group of four couples chose to stay in the Albergo Guastini hotel right at the... More

I stayed here for two nights and found the hotel to be pretty basic. Unfortunately we did not have one of the rooms with a view which was a shame in such a beautiful setting. The breakfast was the bare minimum - some cereal and milk, cakes, bread and spreads. It was a shame to not get any fruit. Staff... More

We spent one night in a superior room. The hotel was clean, well located and good value. It is somewhat basic but has everything you need. Good wifi access. The breakfast is also basic but offers good choices. I would stay again. The only reason I didn't give more stars is that there wasn't any "extras" or special touches that... More

Stayed for one night in this charming hotel in mid September. It was much nicer than we expected, with a lovely room overlooking the immense cliff setting of the town. Breakfast was very generous and delicious. Room was spotlessly clean, bed comfortable, bathroom was spacious, clean. The location is ideal for access to and from the hotel. After many years... More

I spent one night at the Hotel Guastini in Pitigliano in mid-May, in a single room with a breathtaking panorama of the skyline of the historic part of Pitigliano. While the room itself was small (suitable for only one adult), it was quite adequate for a short stay, and the views of the Town more than made up for any... More
