My rating has a lot to do with the view…if you get a balcony facing over the valley, the views are beautiful (I have attached a photo from our balcony). The location: Perfect. Some rooms overlook a typical Tuscan valley, the hotel is probably a three-minute walk into Pienza's old town, and you are about a 20 minute drive from... More

The point of staying at this hotel is to have a view of the countryside. Best rooms for this are on the second level, Rooms 202, 220,218,216. View rooms on the ground floor are: 106, 108, 110, Unfortunately I had Room 214, though it was a nice corner room, it faced someones back yard.     And when I asked ... More

The hotel is all about the view! We stayed for just one night, but it turned to be a very special one. The view from the balcony is simply incredible, what some would call the view from the "Vera Toscana", with all the cipress and sinuous roads. Lovely view! If you go to Siena or San Giminiano you will not... More

This was our sixth stay since 2008 & thankfully nothing had changed in the 2 years since our last visit. Excellent, family-run small hotel within a "stone's throw" of evocative Pienza town centre & our favourite Restaurant in Italy "Latte di Luna". Balcony room with panoramic Val D'Orcia view, it doesn't get much better.

We stayed here 4 nights at the beginning of October. The hotel is very nice and offers some nice amenities including a fridge, a safe, extra pillows, a blowdryer, free breakfast, free parking and wifi in the lobby. The rooms are super clean and looked recently updated. The bathroom was modern and spacious. (Yay! A roomy shower!) We rented a... More

Wonderful little hotel just outside the walls of the historic town with gorgeous views of the valley. Parking was free. The room was a good size and well-furnished. Reception staff was helpful, buffet breakfast was complete and very good.

A taxi is a must to get to the hotel if you have bags. Even without bags it is quite a walk. It is a very old hotel, and pretty awful all-around. Upon check-in, the gal at the desk desk seemed aloof and not very welcoming. There seems to be no pride in the upkeep of this property, and things... More

Great little family hotel situated just outside the walled town of Pienza. The owners and the small staff were always on had to assist with anything you wanted. They gave us a warm friendly welcome. Although outside the town you can get almost everywhere within 5-10minutes. There are stunning views over the Tuscany landscape with views of Montepulciano and Monticchiello.... More

Located just outside the city walls, the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the center of Pienza. It has great views of the valley. The hotel is family owned and operated, and family members are almost always on site. Rooms are very clean and well organized. Breakfast is complete with freshly made-to-order coffees. Would stay here again.

Wonderful hotel right across the street from center of town with a lovely view of the valley. Great breakfast with healthy choices as well as delicious tarts; coffee made to order and helpful staff at the front desk. Very clean and well kept with thoughtful touches like slippers. Near both Montepulciano, Montalcino and center of southern Tuscany wine region. A... More
