My (Australian living in Singapore) family - myself, my husband and my 6 year old son - arrived Easter Saturday 2013, and were warmly welcomed by the wonderful Carlotta, a warm fireplace and a basket (and fridge) of fresh provisions. An extra special touch - a small basket of Easter eggs - delighted my son. We settled in for the... More

Trip Advisor emiled me to remind me to review this place, but I want to sy that I stayed here about 7 years ago (I couldn't select that for when I travelled, but I became a FB friend of hostess Isabella, so I know they are still in business and still delighting travellers) for a week. We felt welcomed and... More

Moricciani's paternal family farming head, Luciano and his son, Carlo had no idea how successful their imaginations would become in creating this well-appointed "rustic" farm retreat. Converting a small farm house and stable into a high-end collection of comfortable and beautifully decorated, individually offered rooms was a stroke of genius. Each provides guests glimpses into living traditional Tuscan farm life... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Agriturismo Cretaiole in August of 2013 during Italy's Holiday. Now, while many small business are closed during this time of year, the weather, main attractions, small towns and the people are all open, relaxed and ready to celebrate life, friends, family and food. We sit here struggling to explain our... More

Picturesque, charming, homey are just a few words to describe our time at Cretaiole. All the activities and recommendations are well researched, detailed and made our stay effortless. Isabella, Carlo, Luciano, and Carlotta made us all feel as if we were part of their family. If you want a true Tuscan experience, you must stay at Cretaiole.

My husband and I stayed in Creataoile in September 2013. We were at first apprehensive when we had to stay a minimum of 7 days - but now, we understand why. If you’re looking for an authentic, unique and fuss-free Tuscan experience, look no further. Here’s why: 1) You just turn up and they can help you organize everything else.... More

Our week in Cretaiole was quite amazing. The farm itself was lovely, as were our rooms. There was such an aura about the farm of warmth, beauty, and comfort--exactly what you would dream of when visiting Italy. We loved picking fresh vegetables daily and preparing them in our apartment. And we loved traveling around the nearby towns and villages. Our... More

Agriturismo Cretaiole is amazing. Great location, beautiful apartments, stunning location, and wonderful people. The Morricciani family also serves as your personal tour guides, sharing the best restaurants, what to see in different places, and providing help with reservations. Then there is the pasta making lesson and dinner party - not to be missed. You'll have a great time at Cretaiole.

It was wonderful to be so warmly welcomed to Cretaiole! We quickly felt like we were friends with the Moricciani family. Their guide, Carlotta was well equipped to share many details of the farm and areas in Tuscany. Her enthusiasm was so genuine. She had a way of making everyone feel special. The accommodations were perfect. So tastefully decorated with... More

Our vacation at Agriturismo Cretaiole was memorable in so many ways. Cretaiole is a centuries old farmhouse that has been divided into apartments and of course, updated. It was very charming and comfortable, but a large part of the charm was the Moricciani family, the owners. They worked very hard to ensure that their guests had a good time -... More
