We stayed at La Saracina in the Malvasia suite. Although many of the rooms appears just as spacious (as far as we could see). The unique aspect of this hotel was that it was family owned and operated containing 5 rooms and the owners lived just upstairs. Simonetta and her husband own it I believe. This facility is beautifully done, wonderful setting. However, it was certainly not peaceful in the am when their new puppy would wake us around 6am! We complained and were told it was a small dog they were training....Also, the toilet was located in the very large and lovely bathroom--only separated by a folding screen--not much privacy. I totally agree with the above reviews. You will not be disappointed in any way! Note: they have a very friendly dog. The rooms are all beautiful and exceptionally decorated, you can't go wrong with any of the rooms. We were there in the spring so the pool was not opened, but it sure looked inviting.
