The building is an italian dream of a farmhouse in Tuscany: Set amidst olive groves on the rolling hills near Pienza, the room was lovingly and very tastefully decorated with an eye for detail and there are flowers and lemon trees in terra-cotta pots arranged everywhere around the estate. The path to the wonderful pool is lined with rosemary and... More

It was a pity we spent only 3 nights here! This place is so peaceful, surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and oaks. A perfect place for relaxing and good starting point if you want to visit the splendid Val d´Orcia either by bike or by car. The owner Monica has been extremely helpful and gave us a lot of useful... Recently we ate lunch at Agrituristica Cerreto while we were on a hiking tour. It was wonderful! We did not stay overnight, however. There were about 15 of us and we sat outside at long tables under a covering to block us from the sun, and just enjoyed the many many courses served. Everything was fresh and everything was beautiful.... More

A picture of my wife at this hotel watching the sun set over the countryside has been my computer background for the last year, so I figured it was time to put in a review. This hotel is set in an amazing location. The room we stayed in was just the right size and well appointed. The breakfast service is... More

We've been planning an Italian Holiday in Rural Italy for years and a friend recommended this place as she had stayed here a few years ago. When we arrived (late afternoon), Monica was so helpful, showing us around the entire place. In our villa was everything we wished for and had all we needed for our visit. We stayed for... More

We just returned from our trip to Tuscany. We stayed at the Agriturismo Cerreto for 3 nights. I must commend Monica for being a superb host, and was very helpful. I am only giving 3 stars is because the room we got -( right across from the main office, and the very first room as you enterI) was very noisy,... More

I stayed only one night with my family in one of the apartments in Agriturismo Cerreto. The same day we checked in and after we had left for lunch, our apartment was broken into and all our passports, a bag with all my father's clothes, shoes, and some money were stolen. Although Monica was helpful and went to the police... More

I had an unforgettable night at Cerreto. Monica is a quite nice host. We went to Pienza by bus from Siena. Monica picked up us and drove us to Cerreto for free. She also offered free transportation for my dinner at Pienza city and sent us back to Cerreto. The room at Cerreto is quite clean, elegant and cozy. Morning... More

I have little to add to the excellent reviews below, this is a spectacular structure run by people who know how to create that hard to find blend of professionalism and friendliness. This was our second stay and if anything, was beter than the first. The rooms are clean and well furnished with a fireplace (not needed this time with... More

Located just down the road from St Anna in Comprena, Cerreto sits within its own olive and wine producing estate within a forested area just north of the lovely town of Pienza. The location was sublime and peaceful with views of the Tuscan landscape spreading out before us each morning as we sat down to eat our breakfast of local... More
