With a group of friends we stayed recently on a motorcycle trip through lovely Tuscany. The reception lady could not have been more helpful and ensured that we could park our motorbikes safely in the large hotel car park. The service was great and the rooms very comfortable, we were sorry to check out and leave the next day. BUT... More

We stay at the Hotel Residence San Gregorio for a few days every year and would like to think of it as our 2nd home. The family run hotel is a great base to visit southern Tuscany and a welcome town to return to for dinner every night. The hotel is very well kept, clean and just a 2 minute... More

If you visit Pienza the San Gregorio is an excellent place to stay. A perfect location with easy access to neighboring Tuscan towns. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating offering assistance anytime day or night. Our room was super clean and comfy with plenty of room to relax and enjoy our stay. We loved the breakfast they... More

Charming property in the beautiful town of Pienza. formerly a theater, comfortable spacious rooms. Centrally located to all the must see Tuscan sites. The host family welcomes you into their " home" and are most accomodating. Breakfast is pleantiful with fresh baked goodies daily. Free garage parking on site. Can't wait to return!

Very close to the information center at the entrance of the historical center, has large rooms, a good covered parking and offers a honest breakfast (in an outside restaurant where you may also enjoy other meals).

This is a really good hotel. Front desk is willing to help and really friendly. Room is clean, location is good too. The breakfast is not as same hight quality as room. There are many flies and stop on food. The waiter finally use the lid to cover it.

Dear Taipei, thank you for leaving your comment. We apologize for breakfast, the waiter always check that the bowls are covered, probably the customer before you had not put the lid. However, there are a lot of flies. We invite you to come back to visit Pienza and the Val d'Orcia in other periods of the year. The property More

The San Gregorio was the perfect place to stay to explore Pienza and the surrounding Tuscan towns. Parking was both convenient and free. Our room was huge. No AC but it was pleasant with the window open. Nicolo, the manager, was really helpful. I had left something in my hotel room in Siena and he called that hotel for me... More

I don't get the huge enthusiasm for this hotel Sure, the outside looks good, the rooms are very spacious; the position on the edge of the medieval town is great as is the underground parking, and it's not terribly expensive. But if the outside might be 4* the way the rooms are furnished is certainly 2*, rather spartan , and... More

My husband and I stayed at this Hotel for 6 nights during September 2014. It was clean, very reasonable sized bedroom as well as a separate large sitting room. The down-side of the bedroom was that one curtain was fixed across the window and could not be drawn back which made the room dark particularly from late afternoon. For ladies... More
