It’s a real pleasure when you can make a full 5 star review. And with Sant’Anna, this is the case. We stayed in one of the (few, three I believe) apartments. The remaining accommodations are probably more basic, but with great atmosphere (the original cells of the monks that lived here centuries ago), with shared bathrooms. Our apartment was composed... We stayed at this beautiful agriturismo set in a magnificent 14th century Olivetan monastery. The refectory features the splendid frescoes by Sodoma dating to the beginning of the 16th century. The atmosphere is peaceful, service and restaurant are of good quality while the prices are a bit high. Recommended.

We stayed three nights in August 2013. It was truly a beautiful and satisfying experience for our family. As time goes by, we still remembered the beautiful view, simple life, the breakfast and dinner bell, the wonderful food, the fresh mint tea and the hospitable hosts. Our favorite photos are the ones showing our kids reading and drawing under the... More

This was a return trip for one of us, an a first time for the other. We were charmed, relaxed, well fed, amazed at he beauty and peacefulness of the place. Stefano and Ornella are great hosts. here you are in the heart of Tuscany, and there Is beautiful countryside and historic towns and cities in all directions. The lemon... More

Sant’Anna in Camprena is a gem in one of the most beautiful parts of Tuscany. My husband and I had initially booked the three night minimum and ended up staying 8 nights because it was so quiet, peaceful and beautiful. As a local resident put it when we mentioned where we were staying, “there is something ethereal about that place.”... More

This is a beautiful place, and very centrally located for exploring both Tuscany and Umbria. We stayed 3 nights this trip, but I have also stayed for longer periods with larger groups in the past. This place was one of the best highlights of this trip. I look forward to returning in the future!

We stayed for 3 nights and it was the perfect base to explore the surrounding area which is the most beautiful in Tuscany. Ornella and Stephano were the most wonderful and generous hosts. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and wineries in the area. The rooms are basic and simple but are spacious, comfortable and have lovely views from... More

We stayed for 4 nights and were so impressed with the beauty of Sant'Anna and stunning views of the hills of Tuscany. It is a special place of quiet and serenity. Most of all we were treated very special by our hosts Stefano and Ornella, who were so gracious in sharing their knowledge with us. And be sure to make... More

This is one of the most beautiful and special places I ever stayed. There is no room service, the breakfast is very basic but it is the best one to enjoy tranquillity of the ambience, history and breathtaking views around. Owners really try to keep this spiritual atmosphere. I also recommend the dinner they serve for the guests, it's very... More

Sant Anna is a truly magical place. It holds a really special place in our hearts as it is where we got married last summer, so we got to know both it, and the people who run it, Ornella and Stefano, very well. I really couldn't think of a single negative thing to say about Sant Anna. My job means... More
