Once an abandoned Benedectine monastery (15th c.), it has been lovingly restored as an extremely comfortable agriturismo, while still retaining its graciousness and old-world dignity, serenity, and charm. Sant'Anna in Camprena was the last stay of our 11 day trip to Tuscany. It is truely our favorite memory of Tuscany. The setting is simply gorgeous, also the setting of the film The English Patient, and contains famous frescoes by Sodoma.
