We just happened to find this hotel on tripadvisor and our stay was wonderful! The food cannot be beat the best we had in Italy. Osmone helped us find all the places we wanted to go and set up great winery visits for us! We got to tour a vineyard with the owner and the wine was fantastic! I had... More

We quite literally stumbled upon this place a few years ago when visiting the museum. A tall handsome dark man greeted us in the plaza and invited us to his hotel for a drink after our museum tour. We didn't know quite what to expect, and were settled on a soda. Until we saw the menu. And the view. And... More

What a great place to stay to get a feel of the real Tuscany. The small town is perfect to base your day trips from and the staff were the perfect hosts. This is not in a tourist part of Tuscan so you get the feel of living in Tuscany with the perfect views and small hotel feel. You can... More

Ousmane is not just the 5 star I rated this place, but beyond. I would give it a 6 star if it was possible. From the beginning of it all ...planning our wedding in Tuscany started with a kind voice at the end of the telephone, who knew exactly what I was looking for in a rehearsal dinner with close... Our 3 day stay at the Palazzo Brandano was fabulous! After a whirlwind visit to Rome, it was the perfect place to experience the beauty and leisure of Tuscany. The accommodations were outstanding, enhanced only by the expertise of Ousmane and Linda. They treated us like royalty! If and when we return to Italy, Palazzo Brandano will definitely be one... We stayed at Palazzo Brandano for 3 nights and very happy we chose this hotel as our base to explore the Val d'Orcia region of Tuscany. The hotel manager, Ousmane, was amazing. He gave us great advice with suggestions about where to visit and restaurants to try. We asked him if he could arrange for us to try some local... More

Palazzo Brandano is in a tiny village, Petroio, situated within easy drive of all the main "must-do's" in Tuscany. It's a beautiful old building forming one wall of the village with only a few rooms. It has all the necessary accoutrements but what makes it perfect is the host Ausmane and his right hand woman Linda - they really did... More

Mr Ousman and team were extraordinary! This lovely inn is located in historical small mountain town in Tuscany. The food , service, hospitality and ambiance are up to par with the highest expectations! A glass of wine as a welcome gift, breakfast in the room. Rent the suite. It is an investment for a romantic experience!!! Luc and Caroline from... More

Grand hotel with outstanding service! Rooms were comfortable and the location very quiet and peaceful. Perfect to base from for touring the vineyards of Tuscany by car. Dinner and breakfast were first rate. Excellent wine selection. Furniture is a bit worn, but still comfortable and (as typical in older biuildings) a severe lack of available outlets for electronics...all outweighed by... More

My wife and I stayed at the Palazzo Brandano for just 2 nights out of our 2 week vacation. We regret not having had more time. The Brandano is an ideal Tuscan retreat, in particular the small village of Petroio is a refreshing change from the other well known and overcrowded towns. Petroio is charming and picturesque, you can walk... More
