Very deceptive when approaching this hotel, navigating through the tiny flag stone alley, to reveal a true gem. Tasteful decor, very warm greeting from owners, ample rooms with great views. Would recommend this hotel to all my friends. Restaurant underneath hotel has some very fine food, as does the rest of the villages eateries... I will be returning to this... More

My wife and I have just spent 4 nights at this beautiful and exquisitely renovated boutique hotel. The building was purchased in 2000 and took 6 years of painstaking work to bring it up to th very high standard we see today. The original frescos in the small lounge at the back of the property are a must-see. Carlo and... More

We stayed in this lovely little hotel for five nights last week. Th owners Carlo and Francesca are just lovely gentle people who are exceptionly welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble The hotel is just how it appears in the brochure with well furnished and equipped rooms. We had the yellow suit overlooking the gorge. The continental breakfast... More

We have recently returned from a 6 night stay in this lovely little Hotel. We were in one of the suites which had a beautiful view of the river and everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble for Carlo and Francesca. From the initial booking through to checking out. They made bookings for us, suggested trips, train times and... More

We stayed for a week in August 2014, and can't wait to go back! Carlo was amazing, guiding us as to what to do, and where to eat! Loro Cuiffena is beautiful and relaxing and our room (Yellow Suite) overlooked the river which was beautiful. The breakfast was fabulous, and they were very helpful in getting in food that I... We loved our 2 night stay there. The friendliness and helpfulness of the owner was second to none. Very clean and cosy! Breakfast was ok but could be improved with fresh juices and slightly bigger choice. But that's really such a minor deficit that it still gets my full 5 points! I want to go again. The town Loro Ciufenna... More

My wife and I stayed 5 nights in this wonderful hotel. The owners are very friendly and helpful with the maps and recommendations on where to go around, and we even got a free upgrade to a bigger room. The views from our windows were extraordinary looking at waterfalls! Perfect for relaxing, daydreaming, reading, sleeping or whatever you like to... More

We stayed at Dimora Casa Eugenia for 5 nights after getting an excellent deal through secret escapes. Although we were aware of the beautiful Tuscan surroundings we really couldn't have asked for a nicer hotel. Our room (rossa suite) overlooked the river with breathtaking views across the valley. The 13th century building has been lovingly restored by Carlo and his... More

I don't usually post reviews but felt I must comment on this one. It was a really perfect place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We are seasoned travellers and have never experienced better breakfasts in any hotel or b&b anywhere in Europe. The room overlooking the river was spectacular with swifts, martins and swallows swooping in front of the... More

We stayed for two weeks. It was a lovely relaxing holiday. The hotel was perfect. Small, clean, quiet and the owners Francesca and Carlo were the most friendly, helpful couple. We had the yellow room which had it's own little sitting room, perfect if staying longer. The continental breakfast was excellent. The restaurant downstairs was very convenient and good value....
