Stunning building with incredible views. The rooms are unique and wonderful, the restaurant is superb. Swimming Pool is outdoor and not heated... The grounds are large and a pleasure to explore. The building itself could use a little tlc in places but I can imagine the up keep is hugely expensive. To be honest, any short comings are easily forgiven... More

My husband and I stayed here only for two nights-we wish we could have stayed longer. Villa Pitiana would be wonderful place for a longer stay-we were there to tour Tuscany. It was by far the most unique place we stayed; it had so much character and Thomas shared very interesting history of the place when he picked us up... More

Thomas and the rest of the staff were welcoming and friendly. Thomas took the time to show us around one night and he is full of history. Request room 24 if it is available. It is located at the top of the watch tower, very large, phenomenal views, and has a great shower. Some reviews said the place was in... More

The rooms are ok. The view feom the villa is amazing. The staff friendly. Very dissapointing was the so called breakfast. Stale bread. Non real fruit juice. Canned fruit. Very unlovely presented. For the money a room costs a night u expect at least something nice to wake up to. Also dinner in the restaurant is pricey and more like... More

We were a company of five ladies who arrived to Villa Pitiana late on a Saturday and went right into a big wedding party. Unfortunately the dancing ended at 5 o clock in the morning, which the hotel could had taken into account in avoid having other guests staying there during the same weekend. But this was sorted out the... More

A beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. Our apartment was huge with views out of this world. A privilege to stay in such an old building. For people concerned with other reviews stating it is dirty, it is NOT dirty, it is old and, in places, shows the ravages of time which is infinitely more interesting to me than shiny perfection,... Beautiful view, but that was the only good thing about this hotel. The pictures need to be updated, very poor maintenance. Grounds need upkeeping. The room was dirty, the flooring is in dire need of repair. The furniture in bar area is filthy. Even around the pool has artificial grass with wood frames that were deteriorating. Would not recommend in... More

Setting was beautiful. Staff worked hard and were very friendly, but not quite hitting the mark, so had sort of a. fawlty towers feel. That being said Thomas was awesome! Property needs some upkeep. Only had AC in the bedrooms, so was very hot in the lounge and common areas. The bar was unattended most of the time, so had... More

Authentic and beautiful! Taken back in time!! Service was fabulous! Helped us get items for a picnic. Offered great suggestions. Also took the cooking class with Micheal! We loved it!! The view...spectacular!!! Air condition in rooms only! Wish the wifi would have been better. We would go back again and again!!

Recently visited for a friends wedding. The staff were amazing considering there were so many of us. The rooms were lovely and spacious and got cleaned everyday. Food was incredible, clearly the staff know what they're doing. Amazing venue for a wedding, the grounds and pool area are beautiful. Not a place for people who aren't interested in authentic Tuscan... More
