Good size room, very clean, large balcony with stunning views. I would not recommend staying here without a car as it is quite rural and about 4 miles on narrow twisty roads from the nearest train station at Signa, Kristina and Gabrielle who run the hotel were very helpful. Kristina speaks excellent English and nothing is too much trouble. The... More

The rooms in this hotel are really good, a large size, clean with nice furniture. We had a very enjoyable stay although this is further from Florence than we orginally thought because of the winding roads. Taxis overcharged when they were ordered by the hotel but we managed to get a better deal from Florence when the train was cancelled.... More

We have just arrived back from a week long stay at the Villa La Malva - it was wonderful. The owners are so friendly and helpful, waiting up for us to arrive late on our first night and rustling up a delicious pasta dish with wine and dessert. I would say that it is not that hard to find, the... More

Kristina, you made our trip to Tuscany everything I hoped it would be - and more! La Malva is a clean, charming, friendly hotel.Yes, getting there is an "interesting" journey if you are not used to small, twisty roads but well worth the effort.(you do need a car) Our room was quiet, comfortable, well furnished and overlooked the valley with the... It`s a lovely little place. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The owners are one of the nicest and most helpfull people you`ll meet. A bit remote, but never the less perfect spot for a romantic trip away from the city. If you`re crazy enough you can hire a bicycle for a day and go exploring the area. The only downfall... More

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at the Villa La Malva, at the edge of the tiny village of Malva. The site is idyllic, the hotel new and cozy, and the owners delightful and helpful. Owners Gabriel and Kristine are making a name for themselves with this quiet, and quite cozy hotel. The rooms are comfortable, if a bit... More

We stayed here for a night earlier this week. The hotel sign is easily missed and the access is not easy if there is traffic on the road, but once you arrive, this is a great place. As reported by other reviwers, Kristina could not be more helpful. The bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed and the bar/breakfast area bright... More

The best way to describe this property is to say it's a wonderful modern villa in a small village in the middle of nowhere in Tuscany. You will need a good map to find it and even then it can be a problem. The villa is completely renovated, fitted to the highest standard, with some charming old furniture to match... More

Stayed here for two nights in October for a wedding in nearby Artimino during a gorgeous late warm spell with brilliant blue skies and golden light. You definitely need a car to get there - and the local roads are pretty scary to navigate(narrow, steep, windy and not that well signed). But it is on the main road throught the... More
